Yup!

He was too scared to pull it up the driveway of my yard, so this was the closest to my office that I can get it!

I did get the chance to drive it...Can't give a detailed impression because it was a quick drive. It's smooth, it's quick, it definitely gets attention! The R-Tronic transmission takes a little bit of getting used to though. I was laughing inside, because I think of those times I'm driving my car, which is a 6MT, my body is prepared for the shift, so my head doesn't really move when I shift, but the passenger's heads tilt forward, then back as I make my shift...Thing is, in this car, both my head while driving, and his head as a passenger was bucking forward and back, you really feel the shifts of the car, and my body isn't prepared for such an abrupt shift! Hard to explain, but it was funny nevertheless....

Awesome. Thanks for the pics!

R8 is one of my favorite cars. Hoping to own one within 5 years. We'll see

White is my color too. Glad to see. Now strap on a GoPro and upload some videos. At the very least we'll need a video when you upgrade the exhaust

She's a beauty! I absolutely love the R8.

Please share some photos of the interior!

Maybe you're just comparing it to the F430, the Lambo, and the AM, But the V10 R8 I've heard in person has an amazing exhaust note and sounds great revving too. Or maybe the R8 I heard had a non stock exhaust.

Awesome pick up! Beautiful. Starting to look at these more and more. If my massive GT-R build doesn't go well, well we'll see. A friend of mine (a 28 y.o. single female) just got a blacked out 2010 R8 V10 as well. Tons of carbon. Hoping to get a ride or drive in it next week.

On a final note for some R8 goodness...

Too nice. Like everyone else, I really feel the R8 design is timeless.

So fucking jealous... That R8 is so hot. By far my favorite supercar, especially in Ibis. But for now the S5 will do..

Thanks for all the love guys..lets def get a tri-state A-TL.com meet going. I still remember the first meet I went to up in the Fort Lee area - I forgot the name of the park. Is Binh (Blackshadow) still around? Or CLPlatano and crew?

Jesal - Id love to get an Akra but they are out of my budget....maybe I can pick up a used one of the cheap. If you know anyone getting rid of one shoot me a PM - Ive noticed you can pick up mods for these cars pretty cheap if you keep an eye out...Ive seen a few valveless Tubis and am leaning towards getting one of those.

Achenator - I saw her post on R8talk and actually was heavily considering the car she bought (If Im not mistaken it was from an MB dealer in TX). I even called the dealer and submitted a lowball offer - which they promptly declined hahaha....

What is the altgeris LFA type? A boostedjack type story? I remember when I thought BoostedJack was the man - LMAO.

Will get some interior pics up soon. I think I am going to order a carbon steering wheel though, the factory wheel looks like it belongs on an A3...

Here are a few shots of the clearbra being installed...they removed the V10 badges and rings on the hood - but reapplied after the bra was done. Can highly recc. them and they were very fairly priced..
