New car
I dunno maybe i can get a CPO GTI, thats my dream first car to buy
Love that car, i think it would suit me perfectly.
Save some money with CPO and got Stage 1, and maybe get some nice springs or something with the money i save

Whatever car i get this would be the first car that i well partially buy, gonna get some help from parents but still its the first car bought for me. This acura was given to me once my mom bought a new car.
So it needs to be the perfect car for me. I guess my best bet is to test drive cars to see what i like the best, then see if i can get CPO or new. Definitely not gonna do private sale, esp on some car like a GTI where the chances of it being used hard is high.

Definitely test drive options before you buy. I agree with GTI and Genesis Coupe 2.0T. Mazdaspeed3, although personally I don't like the 3 hatch. Mazda Miata. Civic Si. Subaru Legacy GT. Challenger R/T.
Some of these would be too expensive without going CPO, like the Challenger R/T. You could downgrade to base, but that's terribly boring... but definitely drive anything and everything you're interested in before shelling out.
I would probably want to go CPO too, but limiting to new, I'd probably be taking a hard look at the GTI and the Volvo C30. The GTI/rabbit just seems so common it kinda turns me off. I haven't driven the MKV or the MKVI (is it out yet?) so i'd really have to see if it's truely the best car in it's class.
I really wish they'd just bring the scirocco here though
Personally if I were looking for a car right now, i'd be waiting/saving until I could get a CPO e92 328 coupe in my budget

You'll be getting a nice performance ride that has some nice bits on it (Bilstein Suspension, Torsen LSD, leather seats), and you can mod the hell out of it. It is a bit stiff, and if so, look at a Legacy GT non specB.
Matt could tell you more about insurance, but a Subaru in general is low cost.
Test drive one, then judge. And getting it a year or two saves about 40% from sticker.
From the TourqueReport:
Brand new and around $25K MSRP. Not bad...
The Legacy 3.6R will have a starting price of $24,995 (a $1,600 reduction over the outgoing 3.0R) and includes all 2.5i model features (where applicable) plus P225/50 R17 all-season tires, 17" Alloy Wheels, paddle shifters, driver's side window w/automatic up and down, instrument storage bin w/door, overhead console with sunglass holder and ambient light, and dual chrome exhaust tips.
The 3.6R Premium will have a starting price of $25,995 and includes all 3.6R model features (where applicable) plus a 10-way power driver's seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel and All-Weather Package. Options include: harman/kardon audio system and power moonroof.

Ill do some research into the legacy, even the spec B. Dunno anything about that car.
Any thoughts on the new wrx? That car is insanely fast, 260 hp, awd, i believe. But thats all i know is good about that car is performance. This next car i buy I would wanna keep for at least 6 or 7 years so then by then i would hopefully have a stable job and everything and i can get a nice car. Hmm just imagine if the second car i can get is a new M3 or something like that.

On the plus side of the Imprezza, it is a roomy hatchback (if you look at that model). I guess if it's for the utility, then the Imprezza makes sense.
Before I get accosted as a Subaru employee or pimp for the brand, just test drive a GT or the 3.0 and make your own conclusions. I definitely do not recommend the 2.5i, as they just do not have any power.
