Cant say enough good things about this car. WOW....just WOW. Lets say the WOW factor is high! Amazing torque from such a small motor! And you go from 0 to 90 pretty dang quick! The EVO seats in it fit like a glove. I sat in both....the drivers is an EVO XL and the passenger is an EVO L - the EVO L fit like a glove! That would be my choice of racing seats. For daily driving and race combo I would probably go with the XL though. Greater comfort factor there in the XL model for daily driving! He is bigger than I am though...so he fits perfect in the XL size.
Kudos to Gary on an excellent build and beautiful car! Cant wait to see it at the track!

I feel like the kid at the parade who said, "But Mommy, the Emperor has no clothes on."
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I guess my tastes are different from the current pocket-rocket fad.
I'm sure the car is quick when ringing the last bit of power out of that little engine.
But, in my view, it is still a plain 4 door econo-box under all the plastic add-ons.
For the amount of money this undoubtedly cost, I would prefer something easier on the eyes and with more cubic inches.
However, if this is what you like, go for it. Different strokes for different folks. To each his own.

Odd....appears AMS has yanked the pics down from their servers. Doh! Guess it must have been sucking huge bandwidth or something.

I got here too late? all I see are the red X's above. I'll check again later since I'd love to see this car.
One of my car buddies, Nils, just took the 2007 street tire time attack at Buttonwillow. Check this maniac driving: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMTRY_0a4zU

Not sure what the deal is with the links.....I have hosted the pics and got some additional ones that I will post below here....AMS must not want to host the pics or something so they restricted access to them or something....I DID notice that one pic of the top of strut bar section showing the rear of the engine was missing from AMS photo lineup....maybe they slipped out some proprietary info? Not sure....I didnt save em back then. But I did find some of the same area (similar shots...different angle) that were taken by Gary during the build-out.
BTW.....there was a question about how much. It was more than I thought. You could buy TWO TL's for what the cost of the shop bill was alone.
