Needed a new car....
Quick Recap of Summer activities...
-Totaled my CL in May (bumped a Honda Pilot who decided to stop on an on ramp instead of merge. Didn't even put a scratch on the Pilot, but the poor CL had 240k on the clock so the hood damage was enough to total.)
-Got Married in June, wife was driving my dad's old Avalon. I will be taking the Avalon for a while. Master plan - E46 next summer and keep Avalon for winters.
-Got the new wife a new (used) Car...
CPO 2007 Legacy 2.5i Limited 45k.
Just a few coats of Zaino were applied over the weekend.

It compares pretty well to the CL. Both are a tad underpowered (I had a 5sp 2.3), but the Legacy sticks to the road a little better thanks to the AWD. Im looking forward to taking advantage of that as the wife is from WI and we travel up there a bit in the winter months.
It also has most of the same features as the CL and is quite comfortable.
And yes it being a Lezburu is why we didn't get a Forester. Every time I see one of those one of those is driving it....

Someday, an RS6 Avant+
OP: Very nice. I like that color blue. But be aware that Subaru paint and clear coats are very soft. Easily scratched.
If you would have asked for opinions earlier, I would have told you to find a 3.0 or 2.5 GT Legacy, where the power is not really wanting. I think you could at least throw a K&N air filter in for a few ponies more, but the 2.5 NA is really not much of a motor to upgrade.
Great choice none the less. And the handling is excellent.
