So I sold my Cobra! .....whats next?

I sold my Cobra yesterday and I can feel the void! I need a new toy.....I've been thinking about a Harley, but A C6 Z06 would be fun....but so would that Fatboy Lo.

Anyways....what should I buy next?

did the guy who bought it from you pay in all cash? or did you just cash the check he gave you?

Also, what are your daily driver(s)?

The guy was a cop in NJ, since he bought it out of state, I insisted on cash because I wasn't too keen on him taking the car and me having a "certified" piece of paper saying its worth $24K....in about a week...if it clears.

AND....the cash isn't at my house, its in a safe....somewhere...until I go to the bank....with a .38 snub nose in my pocket!

Dat's mad papuh, yo!

Unless you have to get new, I'd say get both the bike and the car slightly used. If you only get one, get the car.

That's odd. That certified piece of paper is certified (read: guaranteed) funds. I've bought and sold tons of big ticket items using certified funds. If they're certified, there's no hold... they clear immediately. It's basically as good as cash.

Anyway, congrats on the sale! Refresh my memory again... what is your DD?

My vote would be a CTS-V Coupe.

Most everyone has very strong opinions on the styling of that car, though.

Why did you sell the Stang? Might lead you to your next vehicle.

You still have a pickup? I say get a boat.

My DD is a 2010 TSX so that is totally covered.

I'm going to check out the new Victory Vegas 8-Ball this weekend...other then that....I like the Fatboy Lo a lot! I can't really afford a C6 Z06....they are still in the upper 40s to low 50s!

Is this your first bike? Why not bank the money (or invest it) and get a beater bike to practice on?

I'd probably go with an NSX or a boat. If you're looking at motorcycles... I'd probably grab a Ducati 848 and bank the rest. If a standard is more your style a Ducati Streetfighter or Triumph Speed/Street Triple.
