Need a referal when ordering a 2004 TL?

Since there are so many people interested in the 2004 Acura TL on this site I think we (Acura dealer members) would be glad to recommend knowledgeable salespeople in your area to order a TL from. This way you could avoid the people misinforming all of us on this site. Just put down what city and state you live in and one of us could recommend an honest person near you.

I am in Kansas City and I recommend going to Wayne at Jay Wolfe Acura..

He really is a nice guy and keeps up to date on many things, he is also a performance fanatic like most of us and is planning on buying a TSX

See Jim Williams at Pikes Peak. He is the one that always wears the teal colored shirt. Good luck

I'm in Fairfax, NoVA as well. Alex Kresin (Pohanka) is taking care of me. Know anything about the guy? He seems very knowledgeable and on top of things.

BigBluu, try Stevens Creek Acura in Santa Clara. I am not the only one on these boards to have had an excellent buying experience with them. My salesman was Jerry and I thought he was a good guy, he gave me a good deal. The part I appreciated the most was the financing process. I was expecting to really be put through the wringer for all those extras, but it never happened. I also had good service at Concord Acura although I didn't end up getting my car from them.

SF Bay folks, any views on Los Gatos Acura? I have my 5AT w/nav on order with their fleet manager. They're quoting msrp with minimal fees for October delivery. Any prospect on doing better?

Not really, it only has 2 dealers in my state, while there are more than that, and the one I like and am buying the 04TL is not even on there..

I dont think awards mean anything, Me and my dad were shopping for a maxima while back and we went to this big nissan dealership, because it had awards and it was big, but the people there were so stupid and mean, and the salesmen was clearly trying to rip us off

Sorry man Im gonna have to fight you on this one. Jay Wolfe Acura is the worst and most incompetent dealership I have ever dealt with. Poor sales service and even worse maintenance service. Took them 2 weeks with my car and still couldnt find anything wrong with it. Tried to tell me it was just a wheel out of balance. That was complete BS! There was a thread on it somewhere but make it short, they had my car 2 weeks and couldnt find anything wrong, took it to Superior acura and within 1 days time they knew that it was the inner CV boot/axle. I would say if in KC to go to Superior Acura without a doubt, have had great maintenance and sales service.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but I found it while searching for something else and had to comment on the Jay Wolfe BS.

^ Well, 3 years ago they may have been a good dealership. Since we'll never know and it's not worth discussing 3 years in the past, this topic is closed...
