New Trend in your area?

People driving with their high-beams on? Too many people in my area drive with their bigh-beams on. Doesn't matter if they're driving a 92 saturn, 2001 MB, or a lifted suv/truck.

I've seen a few in the last couple weeks, but nothing out of the ordinary. It's annoying, though, for sure.

Doesn't happen here. Sometimes it seems that people need their headlights adjusted though.

I wouldn't call it a trend but I notice someone driving with their high beams on all the time.

Honestly, I think it's just the driver being really stupid. They probably say to themselves "Well, my headlights sure are a lot brighter like this, so I'll keep them this way!"

I saw a guy driving up the Turnpike yesterday with car wax on one side of the car. Driving with high beams on is pretty common.

I see it rarely and don't think it's a trend... just people not paying attention. Funny thing is that it's not really a problem at night... just during the day!

I'm a delivery driver at pizza hut (while in school) and at least 2 out of 5 cars have their high beams on at night.

yeah, that is annoying.

I saw a minivan today with the high beams on.

Some people do it to draw attention to themselves. They get attention, but not the attention they were thinking of when they decided that it was cool to highbeam everyone they drive pass.

On another note, would you believe that some people don't know that the blue indicator light on their dashboard means their highs are on. It's true.

Some people even turn them on by mistake

Some don't know how they got them on and don't know how to turn them off.

All off this sounds silly, but its true.

are you sure the lifted truck and MBZ actually had their brights on? The mercedes was most likely a bixenon so it may have been hard to tell. All my buddies drive lifted trucks and it looks like their brights are on (when they aren't) because the headlights are so high up pointing down

Gotta agree with this. Plus, I think pretty much all members of this site know what HID's look like by now...
