Need help on 20" TSW rims
Hey guys,
A friend of a friend is looking to get 20" gun metal TSWs on his V6 Accord (unsure of the year but lets just assume its a newer gen).
Croft
Snetterton
A couple things... does anyone know a good place to buy these online? He lives in TX so if there's any local shops, that would be prefered.
Also, for him to put 20"s on his Accord at stock height, would he need to roll his fenders or get a camber kit? IMO, 20"s at stock height look like shit so if he wanted to drop his car a bit, what would he need?
Thanks
Jason

Snetterton look better, but 20s on accord?! tell him go with 19s. find cheapest store on line and then just call discount tire and they'll match the price. no tax if you buy it via phone. local store will charge tax.

My friend just got the second rims on his v6 toyota solara. I wouldn't get anything bigger then 18's on an accord...btw, the lip isn't nearly as big as it looks in the pics

I agree with getting 19"s. My friend says that the roads in TX aren't too bad. I'd still stick to 18"s because I want to preserve some comfort in my TL. Then again, roads here in Chicago suck.
02CL-TypeS, could you get a picture? I like the lip too. Its a nice touch.
Mindawg, good advice.
I'm gonna link him to this thread so he can see what you guys have to say. Keep the suggestions coming!

I probly can't get a pic for ya. I can tell you that the lip was exactly 1" and it looked much smaller then that. He got 18x8 and they looked perfect on his solara which is lowered. You may be able to pull off 20's on the new accord since it is much bigger then a solara. 19's would look the best IMO, but 19" wheels are more expensive then 18's and 20's

No, you are not mistaken at all.
They are generally quite a bit cheaper than the likes of BBS, but are also of lesser quality from experiences I've heard. I considered TSW's years back and was persuaded by other owners not to get them.

Hey guys Im the friend of the friend looking to buy the tws'.
First of all thanks for all the advice.
I am still thinking I want to go with the 20"s. If im considering dropping the car an inch or so in the future what would be a safe offset to go with?
What offset should i consider even if I dont end up lowering the car?
Im not dead set on the tsw's either, I just thought they were nice looking wheels. If anyone knows of similar looking rims you think I should consider let me know.
