Need Body Shop Recommendations for SoCal

Not sure if this is the right forum of if it should go in the 3gTL forum. I got T-boned on Wednesday. The other driver ran a red light and slammed into my passenger side. Luckily, my finace was in the car behind me, rather than in the passenger seat.

Anyway, I'm looking for a reputable body shop for a 2004 TL near Seal Beach, CA. My insurance company referred me to Craftsman Autobody in Cerritos. There is also Browning Autobody which has some connection to Cerritos Acura.

Anyone have opionions on either of these places or recommendations on other shops in the area?

If you don't mind going out to Temple City/City of Industry Area -

Backyard Creations does EXCELLENT work. Small shop, he may even turn you away unless I tell him that you're a friend of mine, but because it's an insurance job I'm sure he'll take it.

He does excellent work and maintains 100% quality control.

WTF? I didn't mean to put that wink smilie in there.

CLP - Lanzini looks like it's more of a custom shop. Do they do much regular accident repair work?

They do a ton of regular repair. Just the hot rods are on their site , and you'll see some bitchin cars in there (he does a lot of work w/ foose).

But, yes, he does a lot of regular repair

Thanks again. Something about the insurance making a recommendation doesn't sound right.

Hopefully he will have the time. I didn't even get to see how bad my car was, so I can't really even describe the damage over the phone.

I talked to Mitch and he said they were pretty busy and usually only do minor body work. He didn't have any first hand knowledge of Browning, but said he knew the owner and should be okay taking it there.

Scott - He aked me to tell you to call him.

Thanks again. I think I'll have it towed to Browning.

I don't know what his intentions were. He just said that after I said that you referred me to him. Seems like a cool guy.
