My take on my new 2016 ILX

'14 SportWagon. After all was said and done, there were exactly two wagon's available in the country configured how I wanted (there were other I'd be making concessions on) and one just so happened to pop up at a dealer in Houston.
I was able to leverage my nationwide search into getting them to beat a price offered in California. If I remember, Lynnwood was pretty high on list price and didn't really seem interested in playing ball. Que sera sera.
It worked out splendidly! I was expecting to buy and need to wait a week to have it shipped into state, but as it was, I just drive over and picked it up.

Yeah Lynnwood is tough, management likes dealing locally and they generally have the volume to not fiddle with the out of state stuff. Still took me over a week to get my deal done, I wanted black and every other dealership added all those dealer acc. to compensate the discount on the lease, but it ended out working just fine.

Nice collection of cars. But where's the TSX and brand new ILX?

thank you,
The TSX is on the last page.
I am going to shoot the ILX with my camera tomorrow when I go up to the canyons.I will be sure to post the pics on this thread. If not start a new thread in the ILX subforum.

Awesome. Are you a car dealer by chance? Technically you will own all cars until sold... just saying. Or you are one of those Uber rich 1%...???

What are your plans with the ILX? I see you leased it. Do you plan to mod it at all? Or maybe just drive it until the lease is up then move on? My apologies if you explained it in the beginning.
And I agree on your choice of no Aspec. The larger wheels are just as ugly and the rest of the add-ons don't justify the price hike. I like the kit a lot. But the kit doesnt even come with the car for the A-Spec pricing. Crazy. I would have bought the highest tech package without the A-Spec and start from there.

My TSX-SE all I did was summer tires and a phone-mount for nav.
However, reading some posts on the ILX sub forum I might actually do some mods once the market starts producing stuff for the '16. Lease or not, mods generally don't effect much, and Acura is really good about taking care of you when you return the car.
