My dad's death (on my b-day) has been very difficult on all of us, esp. my sister who has lost it. My dad was an amazing man, loved/respected by everyone, and my hero. Anyway, while getting my car washed at Prestige, I saw this basically fully loaded AMG Sport C-class in the showroom (Designo Cardinal Red on Sport Cranberry Leather--not the MB-Tex junk), spoke to my salesman who helped me get a great deal, and it was mine. I surprised my sister with it to help put her in better spirits.

With respect to the car, it is AWESOME. I really changed my mind on the C-class after driving it more. MB has put together a "baby S-class" with the driving dynamics of the best 3-series. Anyone thinking of a C-class, I say GET IT. While everyone was "trying" to put together a 3-series competitor, MB accomplished the task of putting together a better and more luxurious one. Here are a bunch of comparo shots with my S-class.

interior looks fantastic. I also really like the back end of the new C-class. Looks very nice.

Now I'm interested about hearing more about your sister.

Sorry for the delayed response. Things have been crazy lately (in the non-good way).

Thanks man. Yea, it has some. Material things are just material. This was a huge loss for us though, my dad was amazing and one of kind--they don't make men like him anymore. I proudly held my head up high at my dad's wake and burial.

Funny you mention the Sienna. It was one of my dad's cars that my mom gave me to hold on to and I don't know what to do with it. My dad loved it so much I can't get rid of it though. Guess it's time to start cranking out some kids

Thanks Andrew. Appreciate it man.

Thanks Justin. Yea, I fell in love with the color scheme too.

I honestly can't believe what a good car the new C-class is. I love driving it.

My sister is amazing....that's why I got her a new MB without thinking twice.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it.

Nice cars! Why did you end up going with Prestige vs Ray Catena or Open Road MB of Bridgewater? Just wondering because my dad is in the market for a C class right now. The only trick is I actually work for Open Road Auto Group, so I would probably get a discount at MB of Bridgewater.

WOW! What an amazing gift! You're a very good man. How are you and the family doing? I wanted to reach out to you via text, but had to post my congratulations here for the C class. I'm still on the hunt for the benz we spoke about. Found a few I liked, either way out of the price range or needs work. Hope all is well and maybe ill catch you at the next coffee and cars meet.

I haven't been on the forums for awhile and need to thank everyone/the good friends here.

Thanks Bob. I appreciate it. Just doing what my dad would expect of me. The car has been AWESOME BTW. I am really impressed by how good a car the new gen C-class is.

Thanks David. I appreciate it brother. I hope all is well with you. I just read your thread with the clutch--im sorry and hope things are straightened out. I have a similar nightmare with the supercharger shop right now after they test drove my vette--it has been there for 1.5 months now. Given legal issues, I don't want to post about it.

Prestige MB has been the best dealer I have been to in my "car career". It being less than 5 min from my house is the icing on the cake. I am always there getting my car washed and having a cappuccino checking out the latest/greatest Benz's in their showroom.

Gus, thanks for the texts and compliment man. Best of luck on that search and let me know if you need anything. The family is hanging in, at least we are trying after a huge loss. We need to get together soon...shoot me a text.

Finally got around to seeing these at home, photos were blocked at work.
I'm not usually big on red interiors, but it looks great!

To that S though, love the interior.

Good on you for that kind gesture for your sister. Also, my sympathies on losing your dad. My own dad died from pancreatic cancer back in 2002 (I was 30), and I still feel the loss to this day.

Not sure which R8 you're talking about I had an NSX that I sold semi-recently, but that's it. Still looking for the eventual replacement...

Thanks ttribe. I'm so sorry for the loss of your father as well. I'm realizing it doesn't get better, you just have to get used to it. My grandmother actually died of pancreatic ca on my 8th b-day (what a tough disease) and that's what made me want to become an Oncologist and help others in the same situation. Ironic to have my dad pass from AML in 2 days out of nowhere. I actually gave him compressions in the hospital when he coded---it was a scene out of a TV drama, only horrifically real.
