I've been saying it since page 3, this deal is bullshit, and I think you just want to believe that this car is real and he is "holding" it especially for you. 200 feedback and selling a $50k car and wiring money to anyone named Hussain is retarded. You wired it thru Western Union or something similar I would imagine, so you are NOT protected by Ebay whatsoever, you just lost $1500.

From your other posts and just general naivety and the fact that you are 20, I would really suggest you don't play with your money on your own, I think you are on a path to losing it all to a potential sale of the Brooklyn Bridge. Please put your money with someone who knows what to do with it and can advise you.

I would also like to add, and I hope he doesn't mind being shouted out, but our resident dealer Shoofin can probably find you an M, a real one, and he is local NY and is only 10 minutes from Queens. Maybe you should think about that, but I doubt you will. Good luck

^THIS!
you've been naive about this whole thing. You need to find a life coach/financial adviser and learn about how things work. Until then keep saving that money

wow... i hope this works out for you OP, but to me it doesn't seem like it
atleast you came on here and told us everything that is going on, so we can help you to the best of our knowledge/ability
i personally would never wire that kinda money to that kind of person (not the guy you are talking to)

...but as far as the sellers conditions, didn't it say 30% deposit required in 24 hours, so how is $1500 30% of 48200?...this confuses me, and even so, with 7 days till the full payment is due, you don't have much time left

There you go...paying it off should be your top priority. It's got low milage for an 08. If you can keep the miles off of it and manage not to waste a ton on mods, it will still be very nice and worth quite a bit of cash in 2-3 years. Beyond that, focus on a career path and a better salary and don't let everyone convince you that home ownership is a bandwagon you need to jump on ASAP. (Part of the reason this country is a fucking disaster, but I digress)

I think buying a car over the internet is such a bad idea in general, there are too many unknowns and a sucker born every minute, sad to say. Now some douche bag in a mud hut somewhere is counting $1500 American dollars and laughing his ass off. There needs to be more awareness of this shit, you would think its common knowledge by now. You don't pay someone by wire transfer. Sucks, but I guess you have to learn somehow.

If it sounds too good to be true.........you know the rest, I hope

You could save all of this effort and try a real dealership. Less headache, and a CPO vehicle to boot:

http://www.perillobmw.com/site/used_inventory_search?state=listing&search-manufacturers=6&search-models=1498&search-body-types=1&search-min-year=2002&search-max-year=2010&search-min-price=0&search-max-price=0&search-min-mpg=0&search-max-mpg=0&search-max-mileage=0&search-page-size=10&Submit=Submit

They have an 08 for $51K... And I bet they could come down to what you are paying for the "sight unseen" car. Just trying to help out.

If you can't afford a few hundred dollars for airfare to pick up a $50k car... then you shouldn't be buying a $50k car.

I guess I should have the rest of the post. This guy looks like your typical sleazebag autobroker. (I know not all are, but everything about this guy screams it, including his Myspace page).

I'd keep looking. Find an owner selling one out of his own garage if you can and go from there. Hopefully you can get your $1500 back.

Here is a link discussing Hill:
http://www.chicagoz.com/forums/showt...=24542&page=50

That domain was just registered 30 days ago:
http://www.betterwhois.com/bwhois.cg...itbtn=Continue

He is not even legally registered with the state:
http://www.ilsos.gov/corporatellc/

Email him this info and get your money back, it's not too late. Yea, you want the car. But do you want to get screwed in the process? Move on. Hill is well known here in Chicagoland for scamming, especially on wrecked cars!!! Ball is in your court.

True but thats a manual. Most manuals are easy to find in that price range.

DCT isnt that easy to find.

Regardless, i still wouldnt be buying that 08 DCT from an unknown dealer.

OP, Please read the whole thread over.
Multiple people have warned you.

Obviously you're still being naive about this whole situation.
Get your money back and look for an M3 closer to home.

The world doesn't work like how you're thinking. He will play nice to get the sale.
People are ruthless, and even tho I'm a stranger to you I would hate to see one of my fellow Aziners get burned. BAD!

I'm new to this board but I read and listen to what the more experienced Aziners have to say. They are saying that this guy is a salesman and has bad work ethics. He will do anything to get that $50k in his pocket. Be careful.

You should look into a CPO M3. It will be hard to find and you may have to wait longer than you want to, but it's worth it.

Have you checked on cars.com? Here's one 9 miles away from me:

If you go through with this then at least take the car to a BMW dealer to get checked out. Also get the VIN and run the warranty/service records on the car. Any dealer will do it for you. Theres actually a decent BMW dealer in Naperville so not far from where the car is.

Seller has a better position to talk you into anything when you show up in person. You still need to keep your guard up.

The deal is a good one but not something i wouldnt walk away from. There are tons of M3s i seen pop up that are similarly priced with DCT.

Make sure if you do fly out to see the car you buy a round-trip ticket. That way you can very easily back out because you'll be guaranteed a way home.

Edit: That said, I wouldn't touch this car with a 10 meter pole.

Do you think he would be mean and screw up his scam? I have seen enough info on this thread to put my foot down if it was me ( I wouldn't have bought it in the first place). Demand to see it. If that isn't possible, cancel the loan and get the 1500 back. There should be plenty M3s locally if you really want one. The 7k (over 48k) premium you will pay at a dealer for a CPO is worth it. If you can't afford 7k more, buy a used 335.

Abort mission. If you're looking for a new car send a PM to Shoofin, he'll get you the car you need.
