i've never owned one personally but my friends have, bmw customer service is terrible, a good friend had the m3 but thought it was junk and got a 911 turbo instead, i've witnessed 745s blow their tinfoil engines, i duno, ive driven the m3 too, the curb appeal is all hype, dollar for dollar audi owns bmw, id like to see those rear wheelers in the snow around here... oh wait i do and they cant drive for shit

Those kids you see on the side of the road are with the stock tires which in most cases are summers.

As a Audi owner... ill say that the M3 doesnt have many issues as the S4 does. So your claims are

customer service at westchester bmw (which is close to you and me) is pretty damn good
911 turbo....$120g's.....m3.....$50g's. thats not what we call a fair comparison. "i drove a honda civic but it was crap so i bought an s4" is about as fair of a statement
ii took my dads 328is out in the snow and it did just as well as my cl and most of the cars you see on teh side of the road are awd cars and suv's

 

Performance-wise the only current production Jap sports car I'd take over the M3 is the NSX. But overall, I think I'd rather have a CTS-V over the E46 M3.

my claims are not bullshit. my friend had a 323is with a catback exhaust installed. he brought the car into BMW for a weird sound, the techs took the car out and came back and said to him and i quote, "you have an aftermarket exhaust on your car which means you are racing the car so we cannot honor any warranty work." and when he got back into the car the clutch was to the floor and there was a CEL, upon reading the error code the tech had overreved the engine. fucking bullshit if you ask me. worry about your own lives, i'm not the one insulting someone over the god damn internet.
