They should turn it into an econo car just for laughs. Stick in engine from a Sentra and add cloth seats.

Oh yeah, don't forget to add the SBK (small brake kit) and some steelies.

Sadly enough, if they were to put it back together doing a good job, the warranty may still hold, but using factory installed options, the warranty would be voided.

That's one very pricey project car, although I'd imagine it'll blow every other car out of the water. It ran 11sec quarter miles stock with a full interior weighing in at 4000lbs or so. Imagine what 800lbs or so weight reduction and more power will do. It'll run 9secs.

I spy a missing rivet. I sure hope those 265's are enough to back them up.

It does look off but the new GT is supposed to have 420 cm I believe and the older ones have 412 cm. My neighbor picked up one a few months ago and I looked up the brakes after seeing how huge they were on his Bentley GT.

not to mention how strange it is that it looks like there's no clearance between the rotor, caliper and the barrel of the wheel. It looks like that caliper is glued onto the surface of the rotor, since there's no way they can get the caliper to fit between the barrel and the rotor. unless they're so good at making calipers that they can make them paper thin to clear.

And the Evolv brakes are cool but more pistons != better braking. Definitely more clamping force, but on a smaller car like a Volvo? It just means unnecessary unsprung weight. Thats like putting a 15-inch BBK on a Miata
