The more and more I hear about the new M5...

the more it impresses me. Faster acceleration to 100 mph than the dodge viper and shorter stopping distance in a 4 door sedan?

I saw the last gen M5 yesterday. Freakin beautiful.

I also saw an ad the other day for a'85 M6? I didnt even know they made them. It was nice too, very well maintained.

the M5 is getting 6MT option.... I think next year.

and, I feel the same way about the M5 as you do... a friend of mine is one of the first on his dealer's list to get one... hopefully I will have a full review of that experience sometime soon.

Yes, expect one a year after the E60 M5 is released.

Same under-pinnings as the M1 actually. They are amazing cars, a family friend had one.

Actually... Unless i'm reading the chart wrong, the viper accelerated to 100 faster than the m5 (9.59 for the viper as opposed to 9.71 for the m5). For 0-100-0, however, the m5 was definitly faster.

The SMG in the new M5 can snap off shifts in roughly 65 milliseconds where a skilled driver smashing the stick into each gear could probably pull off 120 millisecond shifts.

Not really. The M5 has a quad exhaust. Looks like a 5 seires with a body kit.

The Black Strip around the bottom was one of the indicators of the M5.

Plus the badge looks kinda like the M5 badge from afar, but its probably AC Schnitzer or something.

Please, if that thing (E60 Wagon) came to America with AWD (xDrive would do), I would never let the keys leave my hand. Hell I would probably live in it. It would be the ultimate car ever.

Fucking truck hungry Americans gotta mess shit up for us though
