^^ "Plus one seat" FTW. Honda already thought of that.

We decided to think it over for a day, but I give it a 50/50 chance of fitting.

We're so thankful we have the option of borrowing one from family when its flexibility and storage space is needed....it's been a great help! And for what it's worth: I HATE the power sliding side doors! If it was an option, my personal choice would be to do without.

One thing I wondered...and maybe you'd have more insight seeing as you're a Dad... But would you have preferred a bench seat for the second row (like it used to be) instead of two buckets? Just wondering if it helps to have a whole seat going across with the kids...in case they wanted to put things (toys, whatever) down beside them, etc. With the buckets, there's no room to place anything beside them to grab; everything would just fall right to the ground. Also, no one can sit with them. Do those types of things play any role? Just curious since almost all newer vehicles use this type of configuration.

What Moog said.

But like I mentioned earlier, because of the baby seats, the plus one option will likely be removed to allow access to the 3rd row. But you bring up a good point. My older son does keep a lot of his stuff in the middle.

And why do you hate the pwr sliders? In my brief experience with them on Monday, they seemed great. They opened and closed fairly quickly. My only worry would be them breaking. And a pwr tailgate would have been nice as well.
