Nice to hear you're staying in the MINI family! That's right around where I'm at with my R53 MINI, but substantially less torquez

Mini Countryman lease is up in 6 months...

I did not get a factory JCW...they are starting to trickle in, but I'm not sure if the manual transmission option is available yet. The first few months of JCW production is automatics only. Plus I don't want to spend JCW money to get a MINI. My car is just a fully loaded S, but it has the dealer installed JCW Tuning kit added to it. Pics soon. I have all the mods in already, hope to start next week!

Are those the OEM CF tips?

I remember i saw the BMW ones are very expensive for just the tip covers.

Those are the stainless tips. My cost on them (I have a wholesale acct) was about $170 for the two. The CF tips are more like $410 for the pair. Cheap, considering BMW M3 CF tips are like $1,400

I gave in and ordered a CF fuel door overlay and CF door handle overlays...That's the only part of the car on the outside that would still be chrome once I blacked everything else out. Should have that later this week, or early next.

These are the CF tips:

$170 for OEM CF parts are not bad.

just make sure that you don't get a different exhaust 1 month after with bigger tips.

I got someone who just picked up a 4 series with $900 the 19" optional wheels and he specifically asked for the 19" and 1 week later, he got aftermarket 20".

The SS tips were $170...the CF is about $410

I'm not changing the exhaust...I love the sound of this as it is. One less thing for me to have to worry about taking off when the lease is up.

I put my other MINI back to stock and sold just about everything I put it on already.

Few things that didn't work out, really...

I specified 3x to them to NOT install the front plate bracket because I was going to go with the tow hook mount bracket (I'm a Cravenspeed dealer/distributor). It was on the car when I got it. BUT I didn't try yet, I have a feeling that the towhook mounted plate might interfere with the parking/safety sensors on the front, so I might have to just keep it on the bumper.

Second thing was I also requested 3x to NOT put the JCW badge on the back, because I was going to take off the "Cooper S" and put the JCW badge there. They put it on the opposite side, and it's not even level with the "Cooper S" words on the other side.

The dealer said they would take care of both for me...when? I don't know. But eventually.

At some point I want to change the front grille with the JCW grille too, but the part isn't yet available to purchase. The "S" is integrated to the grille, so it's not like I can take it off and put the JCW badge there. Sucks.

Looks good! I hate when dealers don't listen. I also told the Ford dealer not to install the front plate and when I arrived to pick up the car, they were drilling into the grill to install the rivets and plate. I immediately told them to stop. I also told them not to put their dealer decal sticker on the back hatch, either. Well, what do you know? It was already on when I arrived. I promptly signed the paperwork and got the hell out of there, and the next day I took it off myself at home. Needless to say, I don't go to this dealer for service. Not listening to your customers that spend thousands of dollars on something really leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Love the way the Cooper looks. Have fun with it!

That's my favorite color offered on MINI's. Next are Thunder Blue (R53 GP), Royal Gray, and Hot Chocolate (Clubman).

The F56 has really grown on me, can't wait to see what you do with it.

Intake & Power Module installed. The module has 2 modes, one for lower boost, and one for higher. They recommend the higher boost setting with 100 octane, but I was told it's safe to run the higher mode on the streets as long as I'm not driving it like I stole it 24/7. I'm going to run it on the lower setting for now to get a feel for the difference, and will up it soon. I don't want to change the wheels/tires until I do the suspension. Hope to do that soon...

Look closer. That's a reflection of the chrome door handles from the other Mini.

^What he said...I did get CF handles for that car too...I just haven't had the chance to put them on yet. I fitted mine, but didn't permanently stick them on yet. Need to clean the car up a a bit first. I'm still waiting for the aero wing to come back from the bodyshop. He's had it for almost 2 weeks now, every day is another excuse. If he doesn't do it by Monday, I'm taking it from him and sending it to someone else to paint...

Good thing it is FWD. I know how i felt when my s2000 was doing 3 wheeling.

i would get stuck at every plaza entrance, even on my own driveway.
