GTI is a strong contender....I happened to ask one of my VW reps what the chances of finding a performance model (the one with a few extra HP) out there, and he happened to have one coming in, with the options I would want, in the color I would want. Sucks that I'm not ready for it yet...

You should extend the Mini lease two months and get a 2016. I have a feeling anything they left off because the plant wasn't ready will start showing up on the '16s.

Honestly, I'm not so excited to drive the car much anymore...I would rather turn it in early than extend it. Another part of me says to just return the MINI and drive my Electric Smart for the year and a half I would have left on the lease when it's time to return the MINI...I have the car for 1 year now and put a whopping 1100 miles on it, so it wouldn't be so bad to drive it...It's just not the most practical DD because it's so small.
