Mid-Engine Acura Integra

Mid-Engine Acura Integra
First off, I searched and didn't find anything.
Anyway, I came up with this idea while either trying to fall asleep or taking a crap, I can't remember. A while later when I was looking for things to google, I figured what the hell, I'll google. I was surprised to find that somebody had been working on this project for about 2 years(and 137 pages) and was doing almost exactly what I had planned out in my head(which I used to humor myself, as I don't have the money or equiptment to take on a project of this scale).
Anyway, here is the linky, just read the stuff from the creator of the thread and ignore the other comments, it goes faster that way

I've seen that before somewhere...
With used mid 90's NSX's for sale in the mid 30's, I wouldn't even think about a project like this...
I just don't understand why people want to polish a turd, or gold plate it...
If you want a mid engined rwd car, then buy one... buying a frog and kissing it hoping it's going to turn into a prince is something I never understood...

My brother sent me the link to this a while back. I had theorized about the possibility of doing this a while back when I had my 97 Integra, but never had the money nor the time to do it. I am looking forward to hearing about how this car ends up driving.

Its the fun of the project. In terms of performance, yeah, it may, and I say may, make more sense to buy something... But anyone can do that...
I do projects for the fun of it(halloween animatronics, mopeds), sure I could buy something, but thats no fun.

It used to be that I thought changing a starter in a snow covered parking lot in the middle of winter was fun, but those days are sadly behind me...
I just like to get in a drive now....
I've got the week of the 17th off, so hopefully I'll spend some time in the garage... unless I decide to sand and paint to house
EDIT: Maybe I need to unplug my computer for a couple of weeks... Does the Betty Ford Clinic have a internet addiction program ??
