I would love to do a pulley/tune/exhaust but since I specifically bought cpo for the extended warranty I probably won't do much but springs/RS5 wheels and maybe some light tints.

Good idea.

I would do wheels/tires/drop and have fun til you run out of warranty.

Wife would love to upgrade her Avant to other Avant, but nope. Audi says nope.

Congrats again man! That car will look 100 times sexier with some wheels and slight drop.

Thanks guys, just went for a quick night spin and now she's in the garage. So happy to have a car again after owning the MDX for 6 years.

You brought a 2011 Audi?
Wow lol.

Basically got rid of one of the greatest suv's in it's segment for a car that will break within the year.

Acura MDX is right up there with Lexus RX 350 and BMW X3.

But hey enjoy your A4...............too bad oil consumption issue will ensure you don't.

I just realized this kid was trying to troll a Senior Moderator's thread

Back on topic - FF are you looking to go to like 18 or 19 inch wheels?

I have to say that I'm a big fan of the classic Hartmann RS4s ... This car has 20s but I think 19s with a drop would look great on your car:

Nice upgrade!!! Congrats.

BTW, 20s look better in this car. I have the factory 19" peelers, they look good, but 20s will be hot, IMO!!!

My only concern was that 20s in Southern CT might be too much wheel for a part of the country that gets freezes and thaws like they do (and what that does to the roads).

Some 20s look really good on the B8, without a doubt.

I thought most people in that part of the country usually have a dedicated set of wheels/tires for winter, no? Maybe 55 can dedicate his factory 18s for winter only.

True ... But you should see the roads in DC after the winter. Catastrophes ... It's at least April before things are finally fixed.

I've bent two wheels because of post-winter potholes. But you're right, run the 18s until later in the Spring and he should be fine.

Glad that I'm in sunny Southern California. Not that our roads here are any better than anywhere else, but at least I don't have to deal with winter tires.

Not getting wheels until the car is lowered. Besides, you don't want my wheels. They're pretty banged up.

You're a dolt.

In regards to wheels, I actually really like the OEM peelers. I was looking at staying around 18" unless I can get a good deal on 19" peelers. I've done the big wheel/small tire thing and it is such a headache in the northeast.

believe it or not, not everyone prioritizes reliability/cost of ownership over performance. If that were true no one would buy exotics.

any Audi in S trim will shit on an equivalent Acura (like there is one, ha).

And he has no idea how easy it is to take care of the oil consumption issue. Yes, pretty much every 2009-2011 A4 experience the oil consumption issue.

But it's a one time dealer fix and Audi has been covering 99% of cars even out of warranty. I got mine done couple months ago without any problem and it's gone just like every other B8 A4s that have been covered and done.

Over at Audizine, there are so many B8 guys with +100k miles without any reliability issues. Only the idiots say that it will crap on you just because it's a German car.

What a half brained idiot.

I was told this was the case, yet my Audi dealer refused to fix this issue. Said it was a non-issue. I loved my A4

Should have shown him the oil consumption issue topic on Audizine. That usually works well. It has almost 2000 posts of information on it.

Audi North Austin was terrible. That being said, oil consumption was the least of my problems.

Haven't noticed anything yet and maybe won't seeing as its a CPO but I have a nice long warranty if any issues pop up.

Some dealers are just a big no no. It's great that my Avant has zero problems. Doesn't have any known issues other than that. The newer BMW/Audi have improved a lot. Not familiar at all with MB so can't say much.

Anyway, post some more pics of your S4 when you get a chance FF!

Guys, we have an ignore button for a reason... use it! We can't ban Tommy for posting stupid shit. Opinions are like assholes... everyone has one (and his stinks). So just don't feed him by not replying or clicking ignore. Then again if he keeps trolling, he'll take care of himself for us.

55... looking forward to the upgrades. I've been tempted many times to pickup a CPO S4... especially after our great experiences with our previous A4 and A6. Keep us updated
