How many miles are on it? What else did you look at? Was DSG your first choice or did you decide to buy it because the price was so good?

I'm trying to be responsible and live vicariously through the purchases of others.

30k miles, i looked at a few IS-Fs, M3s, CTS-Vs. Out of all of them the S4 fit the bill. I wanted an extended warranty, power, and automatic. I specifically looked for DSG, love the way it feels/shifts.

The fact that the S4 has AWD (let alone Quattro) trumps the other three.....particularly given how bad this winter has been in the northeast.

That's a nice looking car. My only reservation with the S4 was the fuel economy, but if you're coming from an MDX, it would be an improvement so it shouldn't matter.
