It may not be Acura, but its J32a2 ::Pics::

New(er) here to AZ. Joined when I started to compile the parts to swap a j32a2 into my 6th gen Accord, and no its been in and running for months.
Look forward to gaining more info on here regarding the options for the motor.

Ive been a member over a .net for 7 years, hope my stay here is long as well. I know a few members here, but I hope to become more familiar with more members

Heres the car:

The engine bay looks a bit different now (lost the ricey hoses and stuff) and a new set of wheels are in the works, the Gram Lights are FS.

For now it is pretty much very stock. Bolts on mods for the most part (Aasco light weight flywheel, exhaust mods, etc.)

Pictures from the swap, I wish I took more, but we were able to get the swap done in about 15 hours of work
-The shop may look familiar. "Moneypit" did work in this shop also. He helped me a crap ton with information, and his brother helped me actually do the work. Learned a lot from these guys!

I hope this is in the correct section.

6 speed? Nice I like it. I like those accords, one of the best looking ones. After that model, they just got HUGE.

Hey man...welcome and congrats on having the balls to do this. She looks fast and VERY clean!
I'm over on .net (?) too for info for my gf's 8th Gen. If that's where you're talking about you'll LOVE it over here...AZ makes .net look like a ghost town.

honestly, it feels like a completely different car. Going from a sluggish auto, to a quick manual. I ran quarter mile times this summer and got a 14.6 with horrible shifting. Im sure I can ran a 14.4-14.3 no problem

I never really understood that either...you usually have to spell out numbers for phone numbers or write the website. I guess it's a proprietary thing. Still can't see what site you were referring to.

drive accord dot net
Not trying to promote, it just find out if it's the one you're on.

Very nice car, but I not a fan of those big exhaust you got going... Aftermarket exhausts are good, but I was never really a fan of those big ones.

Welcome fellow Accord owner!

<-- Has a 7th Gen 6mt Coupe

I'm on V 6 P too, aka Accordian. Very nice work on the swap. At first I was like please tell me he swapped in the 6mt, then I saw the interior shot and was relieved.

But what's this about all the Accords becoming too big after the 6th gen though? I don't think my 7th gen coupe is that much bigger than a 6th gen. The 8th gen on the other hand is definitely much bigger than both 6/7 gens.

Check out the *cough*cough* "official" *cough*cough* Honda Accord thread in my sig. Lots of fellow 'Cord owner on here.

Wow great build, and nice work on that swap. Man I've got to polish my manifolds and tb, yours look great. New wheels are sick, nice upgrate.

Like everyone else I was a big fan of this accords body style. When I was 18-20 I almost got one of these if It only came in a stick shift.I mean they still look great today. Ended up with a Integra GSR, which ultimately has led me to the CL.

Got a question about your emanage blue.
I have one too and I've been wanting to tune with it but haven't bought the harness, or wideband yet and yada yada...
There's lots of mixed reviews about it in the CL section, and I was wondering how it went with your tuning?
I hear tuners don't like it, but its all that seems to work for our ecu's. (other than big $$$ ems)
Any problem with the crank sensors? I know our setups are a bit different, me running a CLS6 ecu, and you using the richie module and I guess an auto ecu from a J32. I didn't see you mention anything in your post about tuning or numbers etc. Thanks

Hey, I havent actually gotten a chance to tune yet. The shop Im goin g to use is not where I live. Since its winter time now, I wont be able to drive over the mountain pass until things clear up and I find the time and money for the tune. Ill make sure to mention details when the tune does happen though

I ran a 13.899 at 103 with my swap last fall. Launching it is the hardest part to get right.

that, and being at a lower altitude (also light weight wheels help alot too)

yea, I expect to have a lot better times next spring/summer

When I took it to the track, I hadnt had the motor in long and was very jumpy/nervous about driving it. Im alot more comfortable with it now, and I look forward to low 14s next summer.
Id love to get a set of some drag wheels, 17s..possibly for some slicks. Anyone have advice?

17's the largest i would go, if not 16's (or even 15's if tour brakes will allow you)

advice, learn how to shift really quickly, personally if i blow a tranny i am not going to be pissed (some maybe), but i know i am not the easiest on it
and i just use the built in 5k rev limiter as my launching rpm (but i also got an aftermarket clutch though)(maybe not the best for the motor but whatever, i eventually want a 3.6 anyways; and i maintain the motor really good, so it should handle it just fine)

btw: i did not see the size and offset of those wheels (but i like how it is still inside the fender too)

Quick Reply: It may not be Acura, but its J32a2 ::Pics::
