M6 Kills 911 Turbo. Wow.
I didnt think these M6's were that quick.
BMW M6 vs. 911 Turbo
BMW M6 uses Launch Control. Revs wihout a gear up tp around 4000 rpm then when I release the shift the car launches and shifts automatically all the way up to the limit. Gas pedal is depressed all the way. Continental tyres, worn tyres and cold ground (below 8 degrees) did make the 1st gear spin until second gear. We race a standard Porsche 911 Turbo (996). This is taken place at Koenigsegg facilities in Sweden.

Nice video. In Top Gear's test of the Aston AMV8, a 997 Carrera S and a M6, the Porsche displayed a significantly quicker lap time around an improvised course.
Obviously the M6 has brutal straightline speed, and is a doodle to launch with its launch control, but I'm not sure which one would win in the twisties.

The 996TT and the 997S would both be faster than the porcine M6 on a road course unless the course was designed specifically to show the M6's talents. The M6 will also likely be faster in a straight line when the manual shows up. I have yet to drive an SMG3 car but chances are the manual with a good driver will get out of the hole faster, as it does with SMG2 cars.
