no no no i didnt say to do a maixima conversion, im saying that body styling and trunk/lights kinda looks like that one generation of maxima, i cant think of it now, in a way, and no way in hell would i ever think of doing a maxima conversion into a GTX

Well short and sweet. The current z06 will STILL beat the current viper on any type of road coarse.. Enough said.
Im a true enthusiast and this by far the best PERFORMANCE car for the money. Going in the straight line is not my thing any more.

Z06 tied the 911 TT RECORD at Nuremberg Germany. 7:54 lap time. z06 also had STOCK street tires. Now thats impressive, this was also done on the 1st day they were there.

To me the difference btw a stock vette and a z06 is HUGE. The major difference in looks that people havent stated is the Z06 has a Fixed Roof style looks much better. No long window or convert. Performance wise is huge, z06 is TRACK ORIENTATED. Air cooling ducts, lighter weight, stiffer chasis, MORE POWER, improved tranny, more competitive gear ratio, etc... I dont want to list all the differences you can easily find it on the net.
I could care less what "people" think, I bought this car to enjoy MYSELF. Lastly do you think theres a difference btw a INTEGRA and a Type R? Thats more or less it and then SOME..

I gotta agree with the Corvette there is a guy in the MBforum that has invested over $170K on his clk430 form supercharger to pullies and all the goodies. He had the opportunity to test on the track and he said the only car that he couldnt play with was the Corvetter Z06. He was really impressed to put it lightly considering all the money he spent he could of bought three Z06s

 

That's why in 99 and 00 when they offered the fixed roof coupe in a standard C5 it sold like shit. I personally don't think the fixed roof design is as pleasing as the coupe and convertible.

M3 is a great car so is the Viper. If I had enough money id probably have a viper too. I love the 2001 GTS Style.

 

Handling wise its night and day. Few people say that with sways and coilovers on the 330 that it could handle just as well as a stock M3. But i never got that far with it.
