If that were AWD as well, it would officially be the ULTIMATE daily driver.

Speed, Agility, Storage, All weather capability.

Still cool as hell though.

Doubt it will see stateside. The old 540 6 Speed wagons are actually rarer than Z8s so few were bought.

 

Doesn't look as good as the Sedan version

 

I've been looking for wagons lately...hence my trying to make a deal on the 01 S4 avant.

There is NO 540 6spd, not in the US anyway...unless someone can prove me wrong with hard evidence (and trust me I would be happy to be proven wrong in this case.)

My next logical choice after the S4 fell thorugh was bimmer.....but the only 6spd wagons you can find are the 528 and those arent easy either to get either.

But check kbb.com.....you try and price out a used 540iT wagon.....manual tranny is not an option....strictly auto.

Sucsk cause the all new 530ixT wagon does come in a 6spd.......i just dont get it.

 

yes - there were no 540i 6speed wagons... you can get it with Sport pkg with auto, but that's as sporty as you can make your 540i wagon...

Shit, know I forget which 5 wagon he was referring too, but he said they were rare as hell. I'm almost positive it was the 540 iT Sport. The 528 iT w/sticks are nearly impossible to find to find as well.

They are as expensive as S4s.....but I wont say no...I keep forgetting about those. Just have to see how well I fare in the freelance market...I dont need one just yet....but do want one


the 528iT sticks are rare.....there are 2 for sale by private owners within 100 miles of me.....but I dont think the 528 has enough oomph for me.
