M3 engine failures and the way BMW is acting

Everybody should really read all the problems the M3 owners are having with the blown engine issue. It's a 50k car and they are going through the same stuff we are. Some people are on their second engine!!!! People are waiting a month to two months for things to get fixed.

http://members.roadfly.org/jason/m3engines.htm

There seems to be multiple issues; rod-bearings, cam-shafts and ECUs etc.,

bearings and ECU's sounds familiar doesn't ?

BMW doesn't seem to be in a rush to issue a recall either....it happens to all of us.

Nothing wrong with the cam shafts. Or the ECU accept the rev limiter doesn't always go exactly as desired.

Sure you read them correctly. More like spun bearings. And oil distribution problems to some journals on the crank shaft.

Ya transmission bearings with our cars, what ECU problems with our cars?

I'd much rather have problems with the tranny than the engine. At least BMW is acknowledging the problems. However they are being pissy with some people. And a lot of BMW dealerships kinda suck, so you have to deal with morons. But this happens with all vehicle manufacturers and some dealships.

and I think most people did read this thread when TOM2 posted he had engine failure a couple of days ago. You can see everyone thinks it sucks.

That's what boggles my mind. I find it unconsionable to think I would spend MORE money on a car for LESS service. Goddamn. Not to say Acura is much better but PAA is the shiznit.

I heard about some of the M-3 engins blowing up, the oil pump thing. I would be pissed if BMW was hasseling me though.
