Lug Nuts Help

The lugnuts are all ghetto on my 87 Wrangler, my beater car. I had a flat last winter and some of the lugnuts were rusted on and I ended up having to get the thing towed. I think I just need all new lugnuts so I checked out autozone and it is $3.50 per nut!!!! and 5 lugs on each wheel plus 4 for the spare comes to: $84 for freakin lugnuts bolts are like 5 cents at lowes how are lugnuts so much more?? so is there a good place to buy them from?? I need then for a 1987 Jeep Wrangler. Thanks!

Don't buy OEM replacements, they use a "chrome capped" lugnut and as you've discovered they suck and are expensive. As they age, rust forms between the actual nut and the cap and it expands the cap so no socket known to man will get the fucker off. The best bet is to rip the chrome cap off the nut and you'll find a 18mm socket will fit perfectly.

As for replacement nuts, get a one piece accorn nut, best place to find them at a fair price is any place that sells wheels, just purchase a wheel instulation kit it should be around $35. If you have no luck send me a PM and I can get them for you. The kind you want look like this

The ones at autozone where one peiece but I saw some at walmart and advance autozone that I might look into.
