$4-500 a month? shit, why isn't the 335i coupe on your list? imo, it's better than anything you're considering.

3rd gen. TLs have no tranny problems, I believe. I have been owning my 05 TL for almost 2 years and haven't had any problem with it.

However, I would recommend you to get the new G35S. My friend bought the new one about a month ago, and everything about it is just excellent.

350z is an awesome ride, but dont get it if you have kids. Storage is not bad...I've never had a problem getting suitcases into the trunk, though the giant bar in the middle is kind of a pain.

Also, long drives (> 4-5 hours) may cause your back and neck to ache...the suspension is stiff, and you'll feel every bump

However the power is amazing, and the sound is spectacular

TL still has the best interior and ergonomics of them all, and the best gas mileage; G35 is probably the fastest. The 300c is a gas hog and is a large car-- too large for me. 350Z will probably have the highest insurance rates. M35 has a good rep and decent inside, but is bigger overall than the G.
Of these, I'd [still] go for the TL or the G35.

my recommendation

I'd go with the new TL-S. I've had my 3rd gen for about 2 yrs and it runs smooth as the first day i bought it. However, the G35 COUPE has always been one of my favorites. So, while I was in DC on a weekend vacation, I had to kill some time before the hotel check in, so I test drove a G35 coupe. This is a heavy ride for a coupe, it also has a ton of road noise & i really wasnt feeling the interior quality compared to my TL. Also, Infiniti's are also known for their poor residual value. As far as your other choices goes, I personally wouldnt buy a 300C. Chrysler is on the verge of being sold. Nissan has big problems with their sales as well. Perhaps you should consider an Audi. Trust me, you want a car with good value.

Ummm, where can you find a 335i (coupe or sedan) being leased out for $4-500/month???

If such a deal exists, I'd jump on it ASAP!

That is a nonsensical statement since Audis have some of the the WORST resale values (excluding the S/RS series).

As I was typing the statement about the resale value, i was insinuating that Acura has the better value over infiniti & Chrysler. Then it came to mind that he should consider an Audi. I know that Audi has poor resale value, but its sure as hell higher than Infiniti. You get my point DATA?

If you want sporty cars, 300c and m35x will disappoint you... they are both heavy and slow even though they have high HP rating..... remember the weight/power ratio.

Go with the 335i if you could afford it..........

btw, your city sounds a bit funny.....

The A5 would not be out of your price range. I believe this vehicle starts at $29,000 & could go all the way to 51k.
