Look what out brakes a GT3!
click me. i mean German cars FTW, but i was not expecting this to overtake a GT3 and Aston Martin. WTF? lol, just thought i'd share. its 1:04 into it.

that was a surprise

That thing hauled.... but it did not look stock. Didn't those old VW buses weigh like 2000 lbs only?

This particular bus has an engine lifted from the 993 Twin-Turbo, and a 996 GT3 6 spd.

In the defense of the 911 and the Aston, it doesn't look like they were pushing it at all, almost aggressive street driving.

Check out the tire width and ride height on that VW van. Even though o2cls is probably right about the engine/transmission transplant in the VW, I don't think the Porsche and AM drivers were going balls out either.

you never hear the GT3 screaming at peak rpm, it's lazy driving

but damn the body roll on a bus? must have zero damping

shit that MK1 is fucking crazy haha I am on vwvortex.com and I saw some builds where they put a VR6 turbo in those little things. OMG they are fast because they weigh nothing basically. I wish I had one of those, even if its just a vr6 in it, no turbo necessary
