Question Locking Lugs For an 06 Civic Si

I have an 06 civic si and I am having problems with locking lugs.
Here is the thread on 8th gen http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6190
but I don't have as much faith in them as acurazine b/c I am sure someone here can help me

Here is what I posted
I am having trouble getting the right locking lugs for my 06 civic si. I bought these from here:
http://www.hondacuraworld.com/Mercha...gory_Code=HC06
I got them and realized they were alot longer than the normal lugs on my si and they stuck out and looked pretty stupid. I then noticed the product number was different from the website, I got 08081-SF0A2AH (it didn't have the 06 on the end). So I emailed them and they sent me a replacement but they were the exact same. So I emailed them back and they said those are the right lugs. I then called my local dealer and they confirmed it. So are these the right lugs? They stick out and look pretty stupid, I would think honda would have figured this out. I also checked on my moms 04 TL and these are the right size for the TL, all the lugs on it are all longer.
Here are some pics (my camera wasn't cooperating so they kinda suck sry in advanced lol)
A comparison of the locking lugs, an Si Lug and a TL lug:

Locking lug on left, Si lug on right

A locking lug on the Si

And as reference, how locking lugs should look (an 04 TL)
Anyone got any ideas?

Not trying to be a dick, but did you call your local Honda dealer and talk to someone at the parts counter to verify the correct part number? I'd do that and then go order them by part # from the site.

yea I called them and they confirmed that it was the right part. Some one said this on 8th gen:
i had the same problem with the locks i got from the dealership when i picked up my si, they checked the part numbers and honda only sells one set of locks, so there is no shorter ones, im gonna try to find some aftermarket ones
I thought honda was smarter than this?

Yeah I dunno. I have Gorillas on my TL, and they also stick out a bit more than the other lugs, but they don't have the ugly pattern on the top, so it looks alright.
