The way things are going, in 10 years the Honda Odyssey will be running a 7:2x at the ring...

i believe the current record on the ring is 7min 22sec, which means 7min 24sec is not even close to the record. the record lap was done by a modified e46 m3, which is currently up for auction and was in an earlier thread.

The Lexus is stock, but a test car, that's the difference. There are cars out there faster than the M3 also.

Plus in the Eiffel mountains the weather changes rapidly and rarely will conditions be the same on one side as the other. Further I put VERY little stock in any time produced by the marque itself, I doubt a single one of them is a true showroom stock vehicle with rubber you get from Tire Rack even if the sidewall has all the standard markings.

I personally just take a glance at the numbers from the 'ring and generally group cars within 10 seconds of each other due to the many variables. I would prefer same day same driver with cars bought directly from the dealership however that is unlikely PLUS most of the ringmeisters have bias due to affiliation (ie Hans & Walter).

has the new GTR put in a time at the ring? From seeing all the vids of it...it probably beat Toyota and Honda supercars for sure.

I don't like how that air duct by the rear windows looks. They should have kept the ones from the concept.
