I got to attend this type of event for the IS300 - before it came out for sale. It was a lot of fun, got to drive the IS300, BMW 325, and Audi A4.
A few months after the IS300 event, was when I was shopping for a car. I really liked the IS300, but then test drove the CLS and it was no contest. The CLS was such a better car and faster!

I know they have private test drives of certain acura vehicles offered to existing Acura customers before their public release, and participants have to sign NDAs. E.g. RSX in Torrance

i´ve done that event a few years ago. i really got to beat the snot out of the cars. after a couple of runs, the guys were radioing each other to watch out for me. i was laying down so much rubber that day. fun, fun, fun... on my last drive of the day, i took a bmw 540 for a spin. i layed down enough rubber to completely obscure the view of 2 18 wheelers that i passed. lol
