LED's look better than the shitty halogen bulbs.

Plus, if you have a dimly lit or not lit at all plate, a cop will definitely pull you over.

 

If you fly by a cop in the opposing direction or in the same direction for that matter, he wont see your plate no matter how bright it is.

My freind has no light at all on his fully caged 95' Tacoma , theres no spot for a lights it's just screwed into the roll bar .

My car has a LED I put in there, Looks way better than halogen .

 

I like LED taillights but not plate lights.

Newsflash to the "see your plates more easily crowd" - police vehicles have these "new" devices on them called SPOTLIGHTS; they'll see your plate no matter what if they want to.

 

Looks cool. That's about it.

 

One of his points was that a "cop could see it better." If he's behind you at a red light, he's going to see it even if you had no light on it. If you're passing him at any speed, he wont have time to see it regardless of how bright the light is.

Is it bad that I've thought about adding a bulb so it's even brighter ? My buddies A4 Ultrasport has 2 light sockets I only have 1 puny one , if there was 10 it would look like I had a reverse headlight
