LCD-equipped shift knob

LCD-equipped shift knob

According to AC Schnitzer drivers have to rely solely on feel to know which gear they're in at any given time (gasp), so the digital display takes all that pesky guesswork out of gear selection. The red LED on the shift knob has a light sensor which dims or brightens the display depending on conditions, matches the stock interior lighting, features a position sensor and can be installed in just a few minutes.

No worse than they light up shift knob from the 6spd in the E39 M5...which I always thought was bad ass.

Cool. Right where you hand rests most of the time if you drive MT anyway; in other words, it's useless and will mostly go unseen.

That silver CF or whatever looks worse. Actually, the fact that it has a wheel on the iDrive thing is the tackiest thing i've seen in a while...

Who the hell looks at their shit knob when shifting gears to see what gear they're in anyways?

If you can't remember what gear you're in and need to be reminded, then maybe you shouldn't be driving an MT.
