Up for sale is a Lamborghini Murcielago coupe replica. It was built in 2007 by Steve (Stephan) Terteryan of Triangle G and is approximately 97% completed. It needs a number of detail finish items and minor cosmetic work. It runs and drives good and gets A LOT of attention anywhere it goes. I would love to keep it, but I simply do not have time to work on it, and I don't have the room to store it. Willing to let it go for $16,500. You would be hard pressed to find one, or build one yourself to this stage of completion at this price. Here are the details on the car:

-Built on a 1985 Fiero chassis which was stretched and reinforced
-2.8 litre 6 cylinder fuel injected engine with automatic transmission
-Runs and drives good
-Experian Autocheck Vehicle History Report included (similar to CARFAX) showing no accidents and a clean title
-Newer battery
-Recent new alternator
-Aftermarket drilled and slotted performance brake rotors
-Kit manufacturer is Triangle G and was built by Steve Terteryan in 2007
-Smooth opening doors with remote operated door latches
-Latch release spring rods installed for the driver and passenger doors
-Genuine DOT glass for the windshield and both side doors
-Stationary door glass
-OEM Lamborghini rear grilles
-OEM Lamborghini emblems
-18 inch alloy wheels with custom Lamborghini bull emblem center caps
-Plastic wheel well undershields installed
-Smooth operating front trunk and rear engine lid
-Custom red and black colored interior
-Reclining Corbeau sport seats
-Custom red carpeting in good shape with no holes or worn spots
-Replica dash and instrument pod professionally upholstered in black leatherette with red stitching
-Custom gauge cluster (not Fiero gauges)
-Center console also professionally upholstered in black leatherette with red stitching to match the dash
-Machined aluminum gated shifter plate (to replicate a manual shifter) with a leather and chrome shift knob
-Replica round Lamborghini dash vents which open and close like the originals
-Integrated and upholstered "grab" handle in the center console like the original Murcielago
-Replica Lamborghini "airbag" steering wheel
-Custom red leatherette door panels with custom stitching and pre-cut speaker/tweeter holes
-Matching red headliner and rear window upholstery panel
-Tilt steering wheel
-Custom black sill plates with "Murcielago" logo word emblems for each door

Please keep in mind that this car is NOT perfect and needs some attention. Basically, it is an unfinished project........even though it is very close to being done! It has been driven, so it does show some signs of use. These are the items that need attention:

-Gauges are installed, but the electrical connections need to be completed
-The heater and vent controls are working, but the blower fan is not blowing
-The air conditioning is not working and the A/C compressor is missing the belt
-The ducts need to be run to the vents
-Wiring for the headlights and running lights need to be completed (brake lights are working fine)
-No radio and or speakers installed
-The engine runs well, but is a bit hard to start in cold weather. Once it is warmed up, it has no problem restarting. A full tune-up would probably be a good idea.
-The paint has a number of imperfections. There are relatively minor nicks, scratches and chips here and there from being driven. There are also a few spots with some minor cracking/peeling in the paint.
-Needs an interior rear view mirror installed
-Carpet has some stains which should be able to be shampooed/steam cleaned out
-Front trunk hood support (that holds the hood open) needs to be attached
-Parking brake is not working and may need adjustment

It currently holds a California registration/title with the DMV and is titled as a 1985 Pontiac Fiero. It currently has a lost title, but I have all of the forms, paperwork, and Bill of Sales received from the previous owner to obtain a new title. All fees were paid for in December of 2007 and an official receipt of deposit of fees printout from DMV proving this will be included. It last passed a California smog check on 9/12/2007 (Smog history printout included). However, I was recommended to apply for a "Specialty Constructed Vehicle" (SCV) registration which is probably the best way to go. The SCV status will give the car a complete new title with the current year model of 2009, new specialty constructed vehicle VIN, and no smog test requirements for the car anymore. This is for California SCV registration and I am not sure if the same rules apply in other states. Please check with your local state regarding this type of vehicle registration.

Lastly...........Please don't expect a perfect condition show car. THIS CAR NEEDS SOME FINISH WORK AND TLC!! SERIOUS BUYERS WITH CASH ONLY!! NO TIME WASTERS OR PEOPLE THAT JUST WANT TO LOOK WITH NO INTENTIONS TO PURCHASE.......PLEASE!! Not really looking for any trades, but I MIGHT consider taking a 4 cylinder Toyota truck with a manual transmission in partial trade. Car is located in the East Bay Area. Car is sold AS IS. LOCAL BUYERS ONLY PLEASE WITH CASH!!!

Thanks and Have a great day!

They've done a good job, so far. I could think of better uses of $16k, though.

Not much of a sleeper car is it. Quite the opposite indeed. All show and no go.

Wow, it's amazing how far kit cars have come.

That being said, I still wouldn't buy it unless I put something other than that crappy engine in it.

If I had a car that looked like that, I would have to open it up every once in a while. Fiero 6 banger FTL
