I went to my local chevy dealer where my friend works just to look at some cars since my lease is almost up (not really expecting to find anything there), and when i get there i look at a used SS, 04' 7k miles, not bad, but $30k! My friend walks up to me and shows me keys to a new corvette, he hands them to me and as we walk up to the car he says that the doors automatically unlock when i get close, and lock when i walk away with the keys! pretty kick ass, i think mercedes and lexus do this too. I sit inside, and the whole thing just hugs you, kinda felt like my 00' celica GTS, but even more of a cockpit feel.

You can just leave the keys in your lap and push the start button on the car, ooooo the sweet sound of the V8! It also has a heads up display with the MPH and RPM (i believe both) in the winshield, you never even have to look down, very ledgible too. Too top it off, it had navigation, and DVD player.............this car is way better than the previous version.

I asked my friend why it was priced only 2 grand more than the 04', and he said you can get a new '04 for $10,000 less than sticker, roughly $42,000, compared to the '05 at $54,000.

If i could afford $900/month payments, this would definitely be on top of my list.

Sorry if most people already know about the features of this car, i didn't.

 

yeah those cars are so nice. I havn't had the privledge of sitting in the 05's but I've driven an 01 and it was awesome.

That will be my new car in 3 years when my warranty is up. Black on black or Red on red....only way to go in a Vette.

 

46k to start, no better sports car PERIOD for the price. It simply cannot be beat price/performance.

 

I like the red leather, but with the silver exterior.

To be honest I think you could get any combo in the C6 and it will look awesome. Precision red is my favorite....too bad they're not making it anymore.
