E30 probably wont be ready until early next year. Just started ripping the entire suspension & differential apart and redoing it.

this is how the attraction of this car works:
98% = Little kids and dicks
2% = Women (and that's a may be)
have no clue why. may be because its all black and has no color to it.
Kids, about 10 or under walk up to my car and start fucking putting their hands on it and what not. Several parents have told me they have never seen them do that before.
every fucking guy wants to check it out.
women i have no explanation for. doesnt matter the age range. I was at my friend's house the other day (first time with this car) and his girlfriend, a very hot 23 year old, had just came home and walked passed my car and didnt even notice it.

she has good taste but I guess the all black is the problem lol I would drive the truck to parties and then take a chick home to see the Z06... It works every time.

My wife never looks twice at a vette, that is unless its that bright blue laguna blue or burnt orange color.
OK, stupid question... but how do you like it? I keep going back and forth with what I want for a pleasure vehicle between an Elise, CTS-V Coupe, Viper, and Z06 (whatever I get will be pre-owned. Some other sucker can pay depreciation). Thing is I really wanted a drop top... but now my wife says she wants a pre-owned Jeep Wrangler for fun... so if we have that, it can be my topless car.
I just think the Z06 will fit the bill on so many levels... but my hang up is that to most people, it's just a Vette, whereas the others (Elise and Viper especially) stand out. I tend to lean towards vehicles that are different, and Vettes are everywhere and get the reaction typically described by you from that 23 y/o hottie. Even my wife, who is into cars, breaks my balls saying I'm too young for a mid-life crisis so I can't get the Vette... etc...
So, as an owner, what are your thoughts?

I took out my parents and sister for Korean BBQ last night. This old Korean dude was the valet, he politely advised me to park in a wide stall in the 2nd floor that had concrete posts on both sides. I gave him a few bills when I was walking back to my ride, he said "You young man, have nice car and nice personality!" in broken Engrish. Made my night LOL.
