Interesting article on the Frenchies...

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6183619/

Wow, what a big jump from what they used to be.

And Golfs are sold with rebates in Europe?! That compact market over there must be hella tough.

Toyota, shaking hands with another automaker. I swear, they are gonna have a deal with every automaker on the planet soon.

The 1007 was the cool car for me, the sliding doors and the second hatch-opening were hella cool...

Man, I'm using hella alot...

Now, if the French would just learn to take showers on a regular basis...

Junkster, who thinks the Germans stink even worse

Probably never.
If Fiat gets bought out by someone, then maybe.

I thought GM bought them out, or at least has some controlling stake in Fiat?

I think they are still in the middle of that... I think GM has an option or something to buy into certain amount of control of Fiat, but I never read much after hearing that.

I remember the family is fighting to keep it 'Italian'...

It's like a thing for Jags... they look great, even when they're just sitting on your driveway.

Junkster, who believes that's the main draw for Alfa

I thought that was the front of the car until I saw where the side mirrors were facing.

Other than the mirrors even in person it's hard to tell which way the car faces - but it looks sweeet.
