Do it, Bob! Keep that Vagon away from the elements. A turbo-4 would make a great daily.

Thank you. The seats are definitely one of the selling points of the ST that grabbed my attention. I've never been in more comfortable and body-hugging seats before.

Heavily modified indeed. The front end of a subie usually has enough gap to fit a wagon wheel.

the whole reason they put traffic in the scene was because it would have been unbelievable if the jag didnt catch up to the BADGED ST....its a regular focus....

You're such a ninny Anil, trying to talk cred

If they did indeed use a standard ST, they didn't just stick badges on it. The front and back end are from an ST. Roof spoiler, ST. Painted Calipers, ST. In fact, the only only way I could tell that wasn't an ST was in a chase scene in that TG clip, the exhaust is spitting out the passenger side instead of the middle.

^ Haha!

Okay, I think I have my next mod in mind.

RSD realized that the Perrin shorty antenna from the Evo/STi also fits onto the ST. They've tested it out and reception has pretty much stayed the same. I get great radio signals in the Chicago area anyways.

Probably going to order this soon. Pretty cheap at $27 anyways.

So, funny story - did I ever mention this?

When I originally ordered the COBB turbo-back exhaust, I ordered it from COBB direct but the cat-back was back-ordered for two to three weeks. So I had them cancel the order and I purchased it through one of their dealers (RSD) that had it in stock.

Everything went fine, then three weeks go by and two large packages show up at my door. Same size packages. COBB ended up sending me the turbo-back by mistake. And my money was refunded those weeks prior. So I ended up calling them and telling them that they made a mistake. They said "whoops" and sent FedEx return labels to me. The next day they had a truck come out and pick it up. So in talking with customer service, I asked if they would throw anything my way - discount, free stuff?!, whatever, and I mentioned I had the FMIC on my radar. They came back and said they'd grant me 10% off.

So finally today I decided to take the offer, and ordered the FMIC.

After this, I may be done with mods for a while.

Oh, and I'm selling my SCT tuner to a fellow forum mate. Figured I'd get some cash and I'm using the AccessPORT only anyways.

Washed the ST after work yesterday and then drove to the local park to snap some photos, go for a run, and then take video on the way back home.

I really like the way these came out. I'm edited these in RAW. I'm still learning a lot, though, and want to continue to improve.

Active grille shutters (AGS) can be seen. They won't be in for much longer.

I still haven't adjusted my tips.

I think this is my favorite:

For this video, I secured my tripod in the backseat and attached the camera on top. Then I plugged in the external microphone and routed it through the hatch and on to the rear bumper of the car. It worked pretty well. You get the experience of video from the inside and audio from the outside. The only negative is the trip home is short and mostly on 25MPH roads. I also ran out of space on my SD card and the video ended early. But overall this was a great test and I can use what I learned here for future videos. Also, I didn't take enough time to clean the inside of my windows...

I also attached my GoPro on the front bumper pointing at the headlights as I wanted to check the LED eyebrow for flickering. The mosquitoes were so bad when I was leaving the park that I didn't take enough proper time to set it in position. I just wanted to get the hell out of there. But I edited the clip to a point where you can see every single light in the headlights in action. HID headlight, LED eyebrow, high beam, turn signal, and cornering lamp. I think it's pretty neat.

I thought the same thing when I first heard the video, but then remembered him mentioning the external mic out the hatchback. My exhaust is like that inside my car, actually worse I think with resonance, it hurts my ears especially right after a cold start. It's getting replaced Friday.

It's only been like a week and a half lol. My ears are sensitive to low frequency tones though so I had to get it fixed ASAP.

Editing in RAW is actually quite fun. It definitely feels more like "post-production" than photo manipulation. Luckily I have the Adobe Cloud here at work so I have access to all the latest and greatest Adobe products. Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC are great.

My shooting capabilities are still pretty basic at the moment. I just started playing with aperture settings and shooting in manual mode. I've been doing graphic arts long before photography so that's where my weak link is.

I did record one video with the mic inside the cabin but I had the windows down and all it mostly recorded was wind noise. I'll have to record with the windows closed so you could get an idea, but I'd imagine the exhaust sound would be a bit muffled with the windows up.

Or I could play with positioning some more and maybe find a way to mount the mic up front and away from any wind. We'll see. More testing to come.

Luckily the system does not have any unbearable or loud resonance so I am quite happy with it. Otherwise, I definitely wouldn't keep it, as you are experiencing in your situation.

Nice pics! I much prefer these exhaust tips over the factory ones

Have you considered painting your calipers black or something?

Yep, I have considered black. I think that would look pretty nice.

Thanks! I went for the power mods first. Next will be suspension, but I don't want to go that much lower. A mild drop is what I'm planning for.

A mild drop will look really sweet. How much do you think you'll drop it?
