if this is any indication of BMW service.....
A while back I told yall that I test drove a 3 series, right, OK. What I didn't tell you is that during that visit I ordered a 1/18 model of the M3 coupe ( I collect die cast cars) which is very hard to find. To make a long story short, that was Jan.20th, it is now Feb 10th and I call them frequently and the "release date" for this "part" (they treat it like a part) keeps getting pushed back. So today I finally decided to put some fire under their ass and the response was, "our parts are always on back order", "well, you DO have a release date", and "I called the supplier and they said it's coming". The only reason I haven't got my money back is because I've been looking for this car for a while and I know eventually it will come in, but if this is any indication of the BMW service/parts department I'm afraid that my first inpression is a bad one and is not worth getting a Beemer just because of my subpar experiences with Acura service.
BTW, does anybody know where I can get a 1/18 scale NSX (preferrably white)?

I can understand your frustration. You may need realize that BMW has bigger fish to fry. I don't mean to down play your status as a customer, but if I have a new M3 with a blown engine that should take precidence over models.
P.S. I collect die cast models too.
