nah, i think the guy paid right for it. I had talked the guy down to $55K, but was getting cold feet to when I added up the cost to install AC, switch out wheels, put air on the front suspension (only on rear currently). And i wouldn't keep this one long term, so I wouldn't make any money on it. BUt when I called this morning to tell him i'd fly down to look at it tomorrow, he said he had someone interested but was waiting to hear from me. I told him to let it go.

soooo, amazon driver pulled a hit and run. I had just washed it, covered it (put a brand new cover that arrived the day before on). Came home from grabbing dinner for hte fam, noticed the cover was off, figured wind blew it off (even though it hadn't been windy). When i put it on i noticed it was filthy, and then a neighbor came out and said an amazon driver had hit it and ran.
Been dealing iwth amazon, we'll see how they handle it. Found bumper tabs from whatever hit it at the impact site. Also dumbass left his stires serial number on the cover.

Yea, so amazon has taken ownership of it. Dealing with their claim company. Waiting on an adjuster from their end to come look at the car after I got an estimate. Estimate was around $3K, which is 100% labor since no new parts will be needed.
Glad to hear they took ownership of it and you are not having to screw around getting them to own it instead. Hopefully the adjuster will agree with your estimate and you can put it all behind you.
The fact that the driver just took off would infuriate me but I guess I understand that they were probably afraid and entry level and figured you're probably paid enough to fix it through insurance.
Burns my ass.
Glad I stumbled on this thread...I love all your updates.

still only verbal, but struck a deal on these two. Deal i couldn't pass up. Not keeping the rag (I don't like rags, and have already sold it) but will keep the red one
She's a saint, she won't even have a real problem with it if he tells her he wants it real bad.
PS...
What's the deal on the deal, CL? Did he back out?
