Here we go! I wanted the flat bed, but after looking at the bottom of the car, and seeing how there was no real good place to hook up the chains without damaging anything, I called that off and said screw it, I'm driving it home! I was very lucky to have gotten perfectly dry roads... I was even able to take it for rust proofing...

Crappy pictures, I know... Once I get it washed and cleaned up I'll take a couple more...

Awesome cut-off from the HID's. I'm very impressed with those.

Let me just say... It's awesome. The car drew a ton of attention at the rust proofing place... From employees and other people having their cars done... Quite a few people threw out the line "Ford has stepped it up"...

I can't believe how quiet the car is. I swear it's as quiet as my brothers S500... So solid over bumps and very direct steering, perfectly weighted too IMO...

Dom, I went to the Krown in Bolton so I wished I would've had your number, we could have done that ride

So happy to have it home

Oh and pictures do nothing for the colour... It's much deeper and has a ton of metallic flake...

Gorgeous car, we expect it to stay at least that nice. Glad you drove it home & got your rustproofing done. Does it become the DD now?

What color seats did you get?

Did you happen to get a look at the "Saddle" leather?

I haven't actually seen saddle in person but in pictures it looks decent... I've got the black, which is the easiest to live with IMO I've never really heard of anybody getting tired of a black interior, but I think the saddle you may get tired of.

Plus the black leather with the silver/white stitching I have is

^ Wait until the summer... the black leather will toast your butt. But still the best colour IMO

Contrast stitching FTW.

When I got home around 2a.m. I did stand in the garage for a bit just looking everything over... For the 10th time

The lighting in the garage made it look like the whole car was made out of stainless steel

Yay pictures!!!

Looks awesome! I love the hood/front end of the new 'Stang so much. Just so aggressive but not in an obnoxious way. The interior looks great as well.

So I know you mentioned something about some kind of tune available, but do you have any simple mods like a CAI coming in the future?

You were in Bolton and I wasn't notified?

Beautiful car, congrats. Just in time for X-Mas too. March can't come fat enough.

I know... It was a very spur of the moment decision to drive it home. I thought to myself "If I'm driving it, I may as well drive it to Krown"...

BTW I was very glad to see it comes with a REAL spare tire... Not a can of sealant bullshit that ruins the tire pressure sensors... Give me a jack, a tire iron and a wheel, and call it a day. I guess only American cars come with the tire goop crap, and Canadian cars have the proper set-up .

Totally agree ... I've had black leather (well the Jetta has pleather) in my last three cars and don't have scars on my legs from being scalded

The wait until March will be 400,000 times harder than the wait to actually receive the car...

I can't walk past it in the garage without looking at it for a few minutes... Looking them over, the pictures I took at the top of this page do absolutely nothing for what the car actually looks like in person...

Missed what's so special about March. If it's going to be a DD after that and you will only have one car; why wait? Just curious. I like to play with my new toys.:devilgrin

Also we need more pictures.

March is typically when the snow starts settling down and there's not much salt on the road.

I think it would be almost painful to take my brand new car out, with 55 kilometers on it, and in a matter of 2 days have it coated with salt... I figure I'll give it a rest before it takes over daily driving duties

sweet car. No sunroof? or is that even an option? I like it a lot and I usually don't like American cars.
