2012 Mustang Info: http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...gs-updates.pdf
Very minor changes
Looks like all weather floor mats are now available, Sterling Gray is dropped (
makes mine pretty rare, sorry Dom
), the V6 pony package gets different wheels (I like them, but I think they look too small for the design, have to see them in person) and looks like you can get the dash in black trim as well as the aluminum trim.
Minor stuff, I was worried they'd add some features that I wouldn't have gotten in the 2011.

Can't believe they dropped sterling Grey. Just when you think Ford has turned it around they once again prove they have no clue what they're doing.

CHO, have you seen that Clutch issue thread on AllFordMustamgs? Kind of concerning, although I don't think any V6's have been affected. Doesn't seem Ford's doing anything about it yet. Guy in the GTA has to pay out of pocket on a 2K+ clutch replacement.

That's what I meant to post... It's the window sticker... It becomes available within a week or so of the build date. My price was about 6.5k less than the MSRP posted on the window sticker.
Dom, yeah I've read all about the clutch issue and while I've been concerned about it I've talked to my salesman and service department at Dixie Ford and they know all about the issue. I spoke to a member on GTAMC that had his clutch replaced by Dixie and they covered 100% of the costs.
It appears the V6's aren't having these issues...

I don't find much sneaky about it. I'm guessing you can't really be 100% sure until the car's actually being shipped, and even then it's not 100%. And it sounds like S A CHO is having a great buying experience with his dealer so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Yeah, they do it this way because they've given customers delivery dates and if things get delayed the customers aren't happy about it... Now they just tell you when it's on route to the dealer... Makes for a much more accurate delivery date.

That's the Imperial way of using Miles per Gallon... Usually an over inflated number that means absolutely nothing to us Canadians. Those numbers converted into US Miles per Gallon is: 21city and 32hwy... Rough calculation... People are averaging 31-33hwy and 21-24 city, depending on how it's driven of course.
I wish GT5 would take that approach when it came to delivery/release dates.
And those are still pretty good MPG numbers for the real world. That's better than what I'm averaging in a 4cyl Accord.

Actually, another difference is that Canadian cars have Daytime Running Lights...
I just noticed something. This thread is 9 pages long, and you're not even close to getting the car yet. This is longer than most build threads!
I know
Well MTs have always been much more efficient than the autos in these cars. I'll be doing a Seafoam treatment someday, hopefully that'll kick something out.

My uncle just got a 2011 convertible. The new V6. It's actually a very nice car. White with 18's & pretty much every option.
What I don't like is the dash, seats & console. My knees were tucked under the dash & was a PITA to drive the car. Why would they make the car with such a huge dash that hangs so low? The seats are too low & the console too high. Made me sink into the car. Very unnatural to drive.

My brother really likes the new Camaro, but is thinking about getting a V6 since it makes more sense financially and his wife won't have too much trouble with it. Been trying to convince him to try out the Mustang though, but he doesn't like it as much as I do.
Damn this wait is going to be killing you, especially once you know your car is done being built! Then you will have your phone next to you 24/7 till that dealer calls you letting you know its on its way.
My mom has a 08 V6 Accord and she gets horrible mpg. Looking on the trip computer she avgs around 18-20 mpg. Now I have no clue how my mom drives, I'm always in the driver seat when she is in the car. BUt I'm pretty sure she doesnt drive that hard. I would say her commute is half fwy half city. But she should drive more city.
THats basically the same mpg I get in my 00'tl
That cylinder deactivation thing does nothing at all.

You should of bought an IS:F instead of the IS350
The GT was exactly $7000 more out the door than the car I bought. Unfortunately that was $7000 more than what I budgeted for

I wouldn't mind getting a new mustang. Starting price for a v6 is 23000$ CDN, with some options 25-26k. You can barely get any new car up here for that much money. And this one has 300hp. It's really a good deal
