I Miss My RWD CAR :(
so here's the thing...I really really miss my Nissan S14...and I want to build me a time attack/drift car again...so I'm really really really wanting to build me a new car...let's get some ideas rollin for me...the rules...
- Budget...I'm budgeting myself $40k for the chassis and mods...anything else goes...vehicle MUST BE RWD!!!
I'm leaning towards an IS300 with a 2jzGTE swap / or GS430 V8...or G35/Z33 Coupe with Titan motor...
Let the brain storming begin...

I would go back to your roots!! Another S14! You can find quite a few 95-98 decent shape cars out there.
I've also thought about doing this. Buying a decent used one for $4K-$5K and making it a two or three year project

NSX? Shit for 40k...that is the way I would go, or an S2000. E46 M3?
If you go Z/G, skip the VK56DE, too heavy, and just boost the VQ35,
Evo, STi, if you want to wrench
Kinda give up on drifting with those though, but Time Attack/HPDE >> Drifting

You want to buy a car that is already built?
I think you should just start from scratch and build up the way you want it...
If you buy a car that is already built is going to be no fun and you will get sick of the car pretty damn fast... I thought the whole fun about project car is to build your own?
If you are looking for g35 then I seen quite of few G35 pushing 500RWHP+ going for around $30k...

$40k?? fuck. I wish I had that kind of money for my S14.... I will have so much money left even after what I want to do with mine...
I think $40k on 240sx, you will pretty much have EVERYTHING you want on that car..

If you're going to do that, then import an S15, Type R... They look better, and are light, unlike the G series....
