How much HP did your first car have?

Inspired by the EVO thread. Since some say 16 year olds shouldnt have powerful cars... lets see what the members here had.

How much power did you pimp when you were 16?

Chevy s-10
Horsepower: 118 hp
Torque: 130 ft-lbs.

1974 Toyota Corona - I think it has something like 56hp. My mom originally bought the car used from a friend of a friend. It was a POC but it was MY ride. As long as I had mobility, I was happy.

Beetroot, sounds like you had the Trans Am model (190hp), I think.

it was black and pretty fast and looked just like the knight rider car...

I didn't really care too much about cars then...I never even noticed what kind of engine it had or anything

I had a 87 Chevy Monte Carlo SS. Started with about 180 for about the first month and then 475 dyno tested HP. 12.1 in the quarter with a carb that was a little messed up. Was an easy mid eleven car. All natural to. God I miss that car. Sold it to get a Pontiac GTP that was a mistake. Now I have my supercharged accord and Im happy again.

I think it has less than 100hp and I don't even want to think about the torque. My CLS is my fourth car and only one im proud to talk about

Well I had a 92 mazda mpv minivan. Not sure the hp but it was a v6. I remember i could spin the back tires on it. I really enjoyed the thing even thou it was a piece of shit. I didn't have to worry about the interior and shit and i had a nice sub bumping the whole thing. Could fit like 8 people no prob.

1956 VW Bug with a whopping 1200 CC motor that made an awsome 36 crank breaking horsepower.

I'd love to know what the RWHP was.

1984 Buick Century Limited, in gold. I don't remember the exact HP figures of the car but it had a 2.5 liter 4 cyl engine that lasted roughly 80,000 miles.

1970 Chevy Nova with the 307 V8. 200hp and 275tq I believe. Wasnt that fast with 186,000 miles on it. But a decent car. It was pretty clean when I got it in 1981.

350hp. 1968 pontiac GTO in stock condition. Then I put 3x2 barrel carbs on it with a hot cam, probably 400 hp. Original red line was 5,000 rpm. After the swap, the car pulled strong to 7,000 rpm. God, I miss hood tachs.
