How much do 350Zs and G35Cs go for????

Just wondering....it just seems like the are a couple of grand more than what the CL-S cost new.....I know theres a touring version...a performance package....rim options I just doesn't seem like either of those two cars are worth $35-40K.

Before I bought my CL last month, I test drove both cars (350z and G35c). The 350z was immediately out because it was a 2 seater. The cockpit didn't have a nice feel, and the pricetag was $31K.

The G35coupe was a tough car to pass up, but ultimately (obviously) I chose the CL-S. The G35 was too cramped inside (my head hit the roof, I'm 6 foot) and the back seats were laughable. The car, while powerful, felt sluggish - although the clutch was a million times better than the CL. It was a great car, but I couldn't justify paying $34,000 for a car that didn't have as much to offer as the CL-S did.

The 6 speed comes with 18" Rims and Big Brembo brakes all around. The performance package on an Auto is the 18"rims. They are worth it, trust me.

*For informational use only. Not intended to BASH the CLS*

My car stickered at $35,670 and came in a 6mt (18s and Brembo brakes), premium and aero packages. There's too much crap to list out...

A lot more than I care to spend, expecially compared to the price of a CL-S..

when you load up the G35, it does push 40k. but when you look at what you get.....how can anyone say its not worth that price range??

look at what BMW charges for its insanely overpriced cars!! can you even get a nicely equipped 330 Ci for less than 40k????

for 37k, you get a 280 hp G35C, optioned to the gills, not to mention, the brembos, the 18s, the navi, the superior chassis, etc.

bottom line, its worth it. it lives up to its price, its received nothing but accolades from everywhere and everyone.

The G is the best sporty/luxury car in it's price range, but that price range is about $7K more than the CLS6 at today's prices, since the G is going at/near MSRP and the CLS under invoice. You can get a CLS6 with Navi for under $30K. Add $7K for a G35C6 with navi and similar interior features. Subtract $7K for a Mazda6, or some similar sporty but cheaper and not as luxurious car. Add $5-$7K to the G35 price for a similarly equipped 330ci that says BMW on the back. The list goes on...

People make choices about what they want in a car. The G is a hell of a car for $35-$37K. The CL-S is a hell of a car for $28-$30K. The BMW is overpriced in my book, but is also a hell of a car with a prestigious name.

Happy driving!

while powerful, felt sluggish -

I got my Z for $28,500 - Enthusiast Package with the Aero Kit, Aluminum Kick plates, trunk mat, etc...

Cheaper than what I paid for my CLS, although the CLS is WAY more lux

Really? I don't think my Z is THAT stiff. It's definitely stiffer than my CL, but not too bad. Sometimes I heard the dealers overinflate the tires and the ride gets really bad.

Actually Lou's CL with a # of suspension mods rode fairly similar to my Z IMO (slightly softer but not a HUGE difference)

I think a G35 should not be more than 35k. Over 35k, I think it's overpriced.

Yeah, but for the difference you could put a super charger in the CL-S and have something that will really kick-ass.

Actually, I find the Z pretty comfortable..... I even took it on a mini road trip from San Diego to Vegas and it didn't bother me at all and still partied that night....... :P

Altho, I do miss the CL seats.... I bet I could drive cross-country in those seats and not cramp up once.....
