How do you park your car at work?
I work at different sites every couple of months (road construction) so our "yard" is very dirty/dusty. I park outside the yard on the grass. No other cars or trucks go near it. I just wipe the tires down when I get home.
I dont get to park at work. But when i do park i park normally (between the lines) At home i park in the garage. Sometimes if im feeling nice i park to one side so teh GF can get in the garage with the expedition too.

you can get into the smallest spots when SUVs hog the lines and have no remorse if it gets a ding or scratch.

Since the carpoolers at work have their own designated spot, I know most of the cars in the lot are single drivers. So I go for the end spots on the right side of the lot: where my driver-side door is facing the passenger door of the next car and no one is to my right. I park as far right as I can to maximize the space between my car and the next car over just in case they do have a passenger. Since I go in early I can usually get close to the front of the lot. Managed to get by without a dent for the past 5 years...LOL.
At my office, I have an assigned end spot
. The doc who parks next to me is so anal about his car that he pays someone to clean his car while he's in the office. I'm sure he wanted the end spot but I moved my practice in before he did. Nyah nyah!
At work, we have a covered garage so I park in my "reserve" spot at the very top away from everyone else. Newbies who don't know any better usually take my spot when I leave for lunch.
I used to park away from everyone else in my apartment complex until some asshat had busted my passenger side window and broken into my car. Now, I park close to someone under a street light. Door dings are a lot cheaper and easier to fix than broken glass.

One of the VP's, who while only a VP had a LOT of clout, had an M5 that he always parked in a particular spot in the reserved section. He even had a cone that he would block the spot with when he left. One day when I showed up for training, another car was in his spot. He pulled in, slowed down behind the other car, and then parked somewhere else. Five minutes later, some lady came out and moved her car. I so wish I had it like that.
that's when you know you made it...
I park next to fellow AZiner DAYTA's supercharged TSX. We're almost always in the same two spots in our garage, which have a concrete pillar on either side of them. Since we're both anal about our cars, those are the best spots to take. It also looks pretty badass having two modded TSX's backed up to the wall glaring out at everyone.

Garaged at home
At work i have a reserved spot in the back of the building around no other cars - however i only park there on days we are not getting deliveries/shipments as it is somewhat of a tight squeeze for an inattentive driver of a big truck to fit between my car and the curb.
When we do have deliveries i park my car one or two spaces down from the farthest spot away.
Or if its on a day where im first one in and last to leave i call up my coworkers and ask them to park there cars on both sides of me...
in addition to that i always follow the no parking under trees rule... and its tough to keep track but when they cut the grass i always move my car far away from the lawn/landscaping...
I dont like door dings

My driveway at home has plenty of room, so just normal there. At work, I have a reserved spot, and the only car next to me is a guy with a white Subaru Legacy Blitzen model, so we're in the "anal compatible" category. Plenty of room, no dings.
