Looks like an Aerio, but it will probably do well here. now all we need is VW's Polo and the "sub" compact wars will begin.

Yep.

Saw them in England under the oringinal Jazz monicker....even worked on a commercial for one...but I never got to actually see the car.

I like it. It will sell very well.

Wonder how much honda plans on charging for it considering they are marketing it as 'premium'. The one thing I don't like about this and the yaris is the engine power. Same power range a 91' sentra had. Think auto makers should be able to bump it up a bit while maintaining high fuel economy in 2006.

I doubt anyone driving that will worry about how much hp the car has...

Remember costs, packaging and balance are important too.

BTW, my educated guess is around $12,000 to $13,000 to start.

When a competing model, nissan versa, has 120hp/125lbft, I think people who test drive more than one car will definately be thinking about the power difference. People in all car segments can appreciate more power.


Think prices will be more mid13-15k.
