Very nice, I tried to get a Carrera to bite yesterday, old guy didn't go for it. It was fun though, funny enough it was going through PA as well lol. I did manage to get a Corvette to bite, he dusted me but 130mph was fun .

I would say a 959, but this looks like a regular 911 with a body kit. I could be wrong though...

Looks more like a car show than a swap meet, at least compared to the swap meets I've been to. Did you pick up any parts or see anything really rare or unique?

Remember that 550 Spyder reproduction we saw at Barrett-Jackson? Still one of my all time favourites.

Yeah, it really looks nice. I've never seen a 911 in that colour.

Thanks for sharing the pics. As a teen of the 80's, I have a special fondness for 928s and 944s in addition to the standard 911s. I would love to at least drive one of each....putting that on my bucket list.

most of the parts are for older cars from early 90's and older. There are prob about 100+ vendors and tons of parts.

That's what I thought. The wheels were the first thing that threw me off, then just the overall shape and proportions. Compared to some google images of other 959's, the fuel filler is on the wrong side and the shape of the front end is different. The fenders on the original 959 seemed more rounded, with the headlights more laid back. I'm not a 959 expert though, so again, I could be wrong. It just seems weird that an original would be sitting in a parking lot swap meet for sale with writing on the window. I would expect it to be on the block at Barret Jackson.

Same here! I'll never forget the day that my step-brother let me drive his dad's 1986 928, back in 1990. I still remember how "alive" the steering wheel felt in my hands.

I'm hardly an expert either but something does look a bit off. My neighbor collected porsches and had one along with a '59 bathtub, new at the time 911 4S, along with a 928. All very cool cars but there is something weird about the 959 shown like the others have said. A google search shows that some cars do have the gas filler cap on the passenger side but the bumper amber lights always seem to wrap around the bumper on google.

Who knows, great collection of cars regardless

Replica for sure, although a pretty nice one. Clues are the wheels, front valence, front fender slope, ride height, etc. Plus, I'm pretty darn sure 959's didn't come with sunroofs.

Pics from this years' swap meet. It was windy as fuck, like a wind machine that never took a break. It was cold, so there aren't many pics.

We thought this kicked ass.

Kinda weird seeing Cayennes mixed in Love seeing the new and old next to each other, though!

Your car looks good, how's it been treating you?

So far it's been treating me well. It's a very enjoyable car to drive. When i want a spot on the highway, i don't have to wait to gather up speed to get it like i do in my accord. That is fun.
