only thing im worried about is the wheel company being able to match the gold on the car. if i do the black it wouldnt be an issue.
another option i guess i didnt list is doing option #2 just like the blue one, with white stripes on the black hood, and doing white/chrome wheels

The A5/S5 are such sweet cars, but so overpriced.
When I think gold stripes/trim on a car, I think Hurst. Hurst/Olds, specifically. The SC/Rambler is obviously an exception, but they (AMC) were always a little off upstairs.
It would be a major faux pas to do a fake Hurst/Olds, and I think the same would apply here. It's one thing to use a part or two, like spoilers or hoods, it's another thing to copy the principle color scheme.
I'm sure you'll do what you want to in the end. But if it were me, I'd feel pretty dumb if someone came up to me at a car show and asked, 'Hey, is that a Hurst Challenger?' and have to sheepishly say no.

so i convinced my mom to let me take over her blue car in trade for my new white car, so now shes gonna rock the white challenger (mostly cause my dad wants the white)
ive been in love with the B5 blue since i first ever heard it was comming out with the first pics...her car only has 4K miles on it which are all mostly from me becasue shes too scared to drive more than 25 miles away from our town and her work is only 2 miles away.
im def a happy camper now.

Mazda3 and Honda Civic in

sweet, so your getting the blue you wanted and you dad gets the white he wants, nice trade off with basically the blue being new!
Now you have to make it like the one you posted on the first page. If I saw that bitch coming at me in the other lane I would just pull over in my civic out of pure intimidation it gives off

so i got this car in oct lol...late notice i know lol....my mom decided to renig on me and say she was keeping the blue one,then when i told her i wasnt gonna let her change her mind again she was kicking herself in the ass when we went to buy my white one cause she liked it so much (oh well,mom). i got the T/A hood...but its been on back order since oct...supposedly should be here soon,im hoping by the end of jan at latest. ive decided to go with option 3.

And yeah, you'll get over the ex. Just be sure your kid realizes that adults sometimes don't stay together forever. They're just people that sometimes grow apart.
